SoftArch Unisex EVA Slide Sandal (Must Size UP)

Pictured below is this shoe on the left and an authentic Arizona Eva Birkenstock shoe ordered straight from their website. Virtually identical. These have great arch support and are very comfortable. However, there are a few flaws. You will notice the bottom strap doesn't align perfectly, there is a fairly significant smell upon opening the package, and one shoe fit very differently than the other. The left shoe fits my arch perfectly, and the right shoe feels off. I'm going to order another pair and hope the right foot is better. Overall, I definitely think this is worth a buy for so cheap.

I'm not sure that this is EVA as I understand EVA does not typically emit odors. The plasticky smell (probably toxic VOCs) on these is incredibly strong and did not go away after I left them outside in the sun for a day. Have tried vinagre, baking soda, dish soap, and the smell is about the same. Will probably still wear these but at the risk of possibly getting foot cancer because they are quite comfortable.Update: airing these outdoors (in the sun) makes them shrink.

They are very comfortable and Great arch support for house slippers, beach/pool slippers, etc. They are worth purchase. Be sure to buy a half size up, if you are a person with long toes because the shoe is cut short at the top.

I was originally very happy with this purchase and even purchased 2 pairs but after less than 2 weeks of use, the corners of the shoe were the strap meets the bed started to tear. Then I left my shoes in the car after a beach trip overnight and somehow the heat of the car cause the shoes to shrink from a size 7 to maybe a size 5 1/2. The toe of the sandal curled up and the bed narrow (I posted pictures to show the changes in the shoe). The sandals are now unwearable and are basically trash. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of this product. I contacted the seller and the only response I got was to contact Amazon just to find out I could not return the shoes. I will never again purchase from this company.

Everyone says size up and they are correct. I wear a 40 in Birkenstock I originally ordered these in a 41, had to send them back and will be getting a 42. They are slightly narrow but nothing drastic (I have pretty wife feet). They do smell but for the low price and what I'm going to use them for (around the house/gardening/pool) Its not a big deal.

I wear a 41 in Birkenstocks which is a size 10 in women, so I followed the advice and ordered a size up and got a 42. They fit perfect!! I've had them on now for a few hours, they feel a bit thicker than my old Birkenstocks, but are just as comfortable. I have fairly wide feet, so I adjusted the straps to the hole before loosest and they fit great! They have a strong rubber odor, hoping it goes away... will update :)

The product description says to size UP, so I ordered ONE size UP but the sandal arrived TWO sizes small! I wear a 37 (in this exact style, different brand), I ordered 38, the sandal that arrived was more like 36. Fortunately for me I wear my sandals kind of biggish, so I can still get my foot in the sandal but really should've ordered 39. Ack. I would return the sandal except that I need to wear this next week. Oh well. Still pretty nice comfy sandal for the price.

Just like the expensive ones. No rubbing, no breaking in period. Wore these almost everyday since I got them and now after 1 1/2 months the material is splitting. I would be pissed if I had paid big name price but for $14.99 you get what you pay for
