This cooler is controlled by temperature of the liquid
This is a good cooler but it's on expensive side. I use it in CoolerMaster NR200P V2 mini-ITX case. There are not many 280 AIOs which fit in that small case but this one fits. I use it in Windows and Linux. When running in Linux the cooler controller does not receive any information via USB, and I have it connected to AIO fan head on the motherboard. That fan header does not have a temperature curve, it's at 100% always. Yet the fans on the cooler react to temperature of the CPU which makes me believe that they are controlled in this case by the temperature of the liquid. This is interesting because the Lian Li Software on Windows does not expose this feature. In that software you can only chose CPU as input for fan curves. I found the cooler to be very efficient and very quite as well. In Linux the idle CPU temperature is in mid 30 C and under full load it's in mid 50 C. In Windows the temperatures is 5 to 10 C higher, probably because the controller is driven by combination of CPU temp and liquid temp. My CPU is AMD 5950x.

Really good fan
Fan performance is really good 👍 used it for my pc build and I’ve had no problems so far (i’ve had my pc for 6 months)

Good AIO at a good price. Best in class for 340w+ temp loads but a bit noisy.
I've been comparing this to my Nucleus CR 240, EVGA 260, ID Cooling 280 and Arctic Cool LF II 420.The Lian Li is one of the noisier AIOs I've tested and when ramping up it is quite audible. Not as loud as the original EVGA fans, but definitely in the top half of noisy AIOs.If you're looking for the ultimate, best overall cooling for >320w loads, though, the Lian Li was the best hands down. This was tested on an SP109 un-delidded 14900KS w/ KPX thermal paste on an Asrock Z790i Lightning with tuned TG 8400 sticks using two testing parameters:#1. 14900KS set to Intel limits (400/253/253) and in that scenario, the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 420 was the superior AIO not only in temps but noise.#2. 14900KS NO LIMITS and let it fly free and pull as much as it wanted to see where throttling occurred and how high it could pull before throttling. In this scenario, the Lian Li Galahad was superior as the Arctic gave up the ghost around ~330w momentarily before throttling, while the Galahad let the chip soar to ~373w momentarily before throttling. All my other AIOs capped around 320w or lower before throttling. In summary, If you're using a CPU with controlled limits or well under ~300w, just about any modern AIO will take care of cooling quite well. In this situation, you then look for the quietest/cheapest unit and that would be Arctic Liquid Freezer coolers as they run crazy quiet. On the other hand, If you're looking for the best of the best for benchmarking/peak loads with an AIO and noise is not a factor, the Lian Li is about as good as it gets.I keep the Lian-Li on my test bench and the Arctic on my main desktop for day to day. This is the way.

Biggest waste of money in my current build
I generally don't write reviews, but this thing has been such a thorn in my side.First of all, when you first turn your computer on you'll notice that the pump is extremely loud at default settings. Like hearing it down the hallway loud. I waited a week to see if the bubbles would settle and make it quiet like people say it is, tilted my PC to work them out, and no change. So I figured maybe I had a dud and returned it to swap them out. Same story. I asked their support about it, gave videos, showed the audio spectrum near the PC at different pump speeds, and was told this is normal. I had to lower the pump speed from the what is already mid-range 2300rpm default to specifically 1690rpm as both 1700rpm and 1680rpm have higher noise. Then there's the software. It's terrible. For months it didn't even work properly and you had to regularly reinstall it to reset and have it working again for another couple of weeks until it tried to do an update and crashed itself. And the service running in the background is constantly polling the hardware for information like power usage, temperatures, etc. Which makes sense for something like this, but it was causing issues for me in SteamVR and some games with stuttering until I killed the process. And it's a dice roll every time there's an update whether it will start using up 10% of your CPU constantly; increasing the temperatures and eating up resources. This is on a 14900k, mind you.But the LCD has its own issues: the one of the big things that made me want to pay $275 for this on launch. It works great for about 6 months, but then you'll notice once in a while the image flickers. Then it happens more and more frequently. You try to change images or background colors to see if it fixes it and notice the previous images are "sticking" like there is screen burn in or something, but it very slowly resolves itself over time if you're lucky. Then it really looks like there is screen burn in when you have nothing but a white background on that LCD and the whole thing looks like someone held a candle to it. This has happened to me with the original LCD that came with it AND the replacement they sent me 8 months ago. Which, by the way, they won't just replace the cooler. They'll send you a new LCD and have you rip apart your cooler to put the LCD on. So, if you're not prepared to do that, be ready to ask someone for help.Pros:- Cools a 14900k decently well considering how much heat that puts out.- Infinity fans look nice and are pretty quiet when not cranked up really high.- LCD looks nice when it works and there is a simple editor to put videos and gifs in it.Cons:- LCD has a life span of 6-8 months and has needed replacement twice.- Loud unless you lower the pump speed a lot and find the magic number to make it silent.- Troublesome RMA process that some people won't be comfortable with.- The supporting software is terrible and either causes issues or eats up too much system resources for what it does. Not worth it. I gave it 1 star since it did a decent job of cooling, especially for running at only 1690rpm and being attached to a 14900k. Maybe just get the non-LCD version if noise doesn't bother you and use third party software or motherboard controls, because I'm not sure they have a QA process or proper testing procedures.

Awesome cooler.
This cooler is awesome. Keeps my ryzen 7 7800X3D very cool. Great fit in my case and relatively low noise.

Really good
Came well packaged, got a little confused when assembling (AMD version) I thought someone had already opened and started a little bit(maybe who knows) but then figured it could just perhaps be a newer version. Other then that there was and has not been a single problem with the cooler, beautiful.
