Between Never and Forever (3) (The Hardy Billionaire Brothers Series)

Love Finds A Way.
Dex may have moved up as my fav Hardy brother. You know the trope with the MC willing to destroy the whole world for the heroine? Well that is definitely a good description of Dex Hardy. This book was unhinged and passionate as all get out! I loved every moment of it! It was so good I may have to start back and re-read book one while I wait for the next one.Dex and Keelani have been through a lot. I mean a lot. Sooo much trauma, angst, loss and betrayal. However their connection is undeniable. They are the epitome of fated mates. Even when life and circumstances keep tearing them apart, you just know they can never ever really truly be separated. There were some heavy moments dealing with loss, illness of a parent, S/A and addiction to name a few, so be advised if those are an issue for you. I felt the particular situations were well written with sensitivity and as someone who has experienced what it’s like to have my own parent go through the same illness talked of in this book, it was very poignant to me. It hit home a lot and I could relate to a lot of what the characters were experiencing in that regard.I enjoyed this read so much. I loved the undying love between Dex and Kee, the other Hardy family members supporting and showing up when needed and seeing Kee truly grow in ways she never thought possible. I loved Dex finding the peace he so very much deserved and both he and Kee getting their HEA. There’s a lot of intrigue in this story and you’re going to be on the edge of your seat for some of it, but the payoffs are totally worth it. The passion is there, the spice is scandalous in a good way and the ending is everything. I can’t wait for the next book!

well . . .
I love this series and this one was pretty great but it didn’t keep my attention for long. I read the others so quickly and couldn’t put them down. I felt like this one just was missing something. Otherwise this book and series is so amazing.

Good but needs some editing
I liked the book, I liked Dex and Kee. But it was such a toxic relationship. I don’t mind dominance but it was more a control aspect outside of the bedroom. The hate they’d spew at one another and then they’d be all over one another. The trauma of their teens definitely had an impact on their mental health. I’m not sure why her mother’s dementia was such a secret or why she’d think he’d leave her because of it. Her father was an awful man but his role seemed to parallel a lot of teen superstars families and the secrets that have come out lately. I liked that Dex fought for Kee to be free and stand on her own. The intimate moments were steamy but a little repetitive. We got teased (literally) with the toys but then nothing really ever became of that storyline. If you’re going to show us that drawer, use it, please, lol.Dex’s brother sounds like the best one, yet, but some of the sloppy edits and repetitive storyline issues might make me not grab the next book.

Dex Hardy is a new fav!
Shain Rose has done it again! Every one of her books has been nothing short of amazing! Cade Armanelli has always been a top book boyfriend for me, but Dex! Oh Dex! You just earned your place sir!Dex and Keelani met when they were young and fell in love with each other, but it wasn’t enough to save them. Tragedy struck and tore them apart. Kee left town at the age of 17 with secrets she never shared out of loyalty to her family. Dex fought his way to the top as a ruthless businessman after years of hurt by trauma and small town gossip. When Kee decides to take control of her life, her best friend, Dex’s brother, helps her get a contract singing in Dex’s casino. Dex refuses to let her be engaged to another man while under his roof so they become fake engaged. While they are fighting old demons and working on moving past what happened when they were young, old sparks reignite. My heart was so hurt by all of the angst in this book, but Shain pieced it back together so beautifully. When Dex decided he was all in he wasn’t going to let anything get in his way, including Keelani. I loved how the family rallied around Dex and Kee, and it was great to see the Hardy/Armanelli men together again. This book was angsty, emotional, SPICY, swoony, and so beautifully written! I can’t wait for what I’m hoping will be Dimitri’s book next.

• second chance love story •
| contemporary romance | romantic suspense | dual POV | touch her & dye | hardy billionaires | billionaire romance | music | second chance | familial obligations | spicy | dom daddy |I really loved the MMC Dex. I think the second book of this series remains my favorite, however this has all the vibes you can expect from Shain Rose and the Hardy Billionaires series. If you love a possessive MMC who enjoys control and walks the line of obsession, you will love Dex. If you love a FMC who is on a journey to loving and finding herself, you will love Kee.Happy Reading, Friends xx

Emotional and Amazing
I really enjoyed this book! Out of all the Hardy books this one is my favorite. So much emotion in this book! I love how it is portrayed but my favorite part and the part that had me crying is the way Alzheimer’s is portrayed because i work with dementia and Alzheimer’s patients and this was beautifully done.

F-I-R-E
I read this book in less than 48 hours. It would have been quicker if I did have a hubby and kids. Ha! This book was FIRE! The push and pull between Kee and Dex was just addictive. The way he is possessive but also wanting to keep her at arms length. This book was so engaging. There were moments I laughed, gasped, reared up and felt my skin burn from the smut! I would say 3.5/5 peppers on the spice level. When he took her v card I was just in shock. What a romantic yet amazing way! This book definitely is for that reader that loves to see the underdog or the “Cinderella” win in the end. Kee was basically taken advantage of her whole life in every way and all she needed to do was tell the truth!

Absolutely stunning!
I've been feral for this book. Absolutely feral and let me tell you it did not disappoint. The Hardy Brothers series hasn't let me down so far and I suspect that trend will continue onto what I can only assume will be Dimitri's book next!Out of the Hardy Brothers series this one stressed me out the most, as I was reading it, I was absolutely desperate for Keelani and Dex to make up. I kept waiting for him to come around and it was so stressful! I loved every minute of it.If you're new to Shain Rose- firstly this is the 3rd book, but if you're like me feel free to read things randomly out of order... I did start this series on the second book, but I was so sold on the title that I had to read it ASAP.Dex and Kee's story had it all:-Second Chance Romance-Forced Proximity-Marriage of ConvenienceCan I also add Tattooed bad boy to this list? That's a selling point all on its own for me.If you love Billionaire romance that's a little dark (I said a little, because Dex is like a little unhinged for Keelani... he's got like not quite a red flag for me, but maybe an orange one) read this book. It's fabulous.

She was a VIRGIN???
She saved herself, and he lived his life. He was intimate with many women. And the female protagonist saved herself for him???Apart from this all the same as in other books. Degradating s*x, aka alpha -> manchild. Plastic drama and so on.

This book is soooo good.spoiler alert!!
Wow!! This book was amazing. I have now read it again for the 3rd time. Every book in this series has got better, book by book. My favorite part will always be the rooftop scene where all the men appear, after all the girls are in the pool and one by one, the men pull their wives/girlfriends out of the pool and tell them off. I really can't wait for the next book in this series. If anyone hasn't read these books, please do. Start at the beginning, with the Stonewood brothers and each book follows on. All books are standalone, but they'll do interact and characters from other books appear. Brilliant!!!!

Nice
A hell of a lot of miscommunication in this book from the start to finish. I struggled to even like the main characters at first but in the end I liked them both and was pleased with their HEA.
