Blade Runner 2049 – 24” x 36” Signed Art Print – George Hull “Wallace Above Clouds”

I purchased 3 different posters:- “Wallace Above Clouds”- “Vegas Hands”- “Rooftop Panorama”The artwork is beautiful and is printed on thick, high-quality paper with a matte finish.Unfortunately, the image of the artwork posted on Amazon does not show the white copyright notice in the bottom of each print that reads: “©2017 Alcon Entertainment, LLC. All rights reserved.”This may not seem like a big deal, but for me, it really detracts from the artwork. The main reason being that the lettering is white and is on a black/almost black part of the art. It would make all the difference in the world if they had used a font color that blended in more with the background. I also feel it kind of cheapens the print, making it more like a typical poster than a work of art.The notice is least intrusive on the “Wallace Above Clouds” poster because it is so large. However, it’s quite noticeable on the “Vegas Hands” and “Rooftop Panorama” prints. In addition to the copyright notice, the “Wallace Above Clouds” and “Rooftop Panorama” prints have additional lettering/logos of the artist or their studio. These aren’t as bad as the copyright notice because these elements are artfully done.I plan to frame these, so I’m thinking that the frame and/or mat will be able to cover up the copyright notice without covering up too much of the art.In summary, the prints are high-quality and well done. But for me, the wording detracts from the art. Had these been handled like the signed lithographs in the Star Wars Art: Posters set (just the art signed by the art signed by the artists), I would give these five stars.
