Great little very bright light for "EDC"
EDC is cool people talk for Every Day Carry. I'm cool now.Fantastic light output.. low level (1 lumen?)is perfect for nighttime navigation in kayak, canoe or other boat; for camping (head off to the trees, to grab a few logs, to scare off and blind an intruder, to light up the whole driveway or a dark bay near the dock, or to change a tire or search a toolbox or dark corner.. Low level's good for reading.. i've used mine 6 nights in a row. So good to be able to clip it to my hat, pocket or belt loop for hands-free. Also, The TIP SE is small and light enough to hold in your teeth. Things you canNOT do with the humongous mag®lights i've carried for years. One of the most helpful features is the 30-second timer "demo" mode. i know it'll turnitself off after i'm done.FOUR light levels.. mostly i use the second-lowest level, where it's most like a standardflashlight. The second HIGHest level is like sunlight, and the easily accessed "turbo"is insanely bright.. lights up our whole backyard and the field beyond.A quick tap of the function (top) buttonand it blinks to show how much chargeyou've got left.. Press BOTH buttons totoggle between "timer" and "stay on".It charges quickly, holds a charge for several months.. Best flashlight i've tried and it's smaller than the car key fob. (cheaper too!)Only downsides are i can't cut steel or aluminum plate with it, or boil water. It's also too easy to accidentally turn on in a pants pocket by mistake.. You can feel the heat if it's on high. You can flip the clip over to shield the buttons, which is helpful.

This is the perfect pocket-carry flashlight.
I have purchased probably seven or eight of these lights. Most were given away as gifts because I love these lights so much. I have three that I use all the time around the house and as every-day-carry lights. They are super light, bright, and last a really long time on a charge. The light is very bright. No, they aren't my brightest flashlights, but they work for 95% of what I do when not at work. They provide a very even light, which makes working on things easy.I keep them on "demo" mode unless I need them on longer. It is easy to switch in or out of demo mode. In demo mode the light stays on for only 30 seconds. This is great for when it is in your pocket and accidentally turns on. You won't kill your battery or burn your leg. It does get fairly hot when on the high setting.I did zap one when taking off a fleece jacket. There was a spark and it hit the light. The light turned on at its highest brightness and would not shut off. I couldn't get it to do anything. To fix it, I took it apart and unsoldered the battery, waited about 30 minutes for any capacitors to discharge, and soldered it back on. It still works great and that was probably 6 months ago. They don't like to be completely discharged. Always charge when you get two flashes on the battery test.

Could be a great light. Often gets turned on accidentally. My light accidentally turned on, and will not turn off. After searching reviews it is a common defect. I recommend trying something different. Expensive and now useless.

Compact and bright, good for on the go.
I keep these on my keys obviously, so they go everywhere with me. It's nice and bright with three optional settings cycling between a decently bright dim, all the way to a VERY bright light for It's size. It has two options when it comes to duration. One that keeps the light on for about 10 seconds, and the second option to keep on for however long you want it on, but mind you, it's only meant to be a light source that's meant to be used sparingly. If your wanting it to last longer than specified then just get a bigger flashlight, this'll run out quick if you try using it for long periods. I also like how quickly it charges as well as thr connector. It uses a type-c connector charger which is a must have to avoid needing tons of cables for multiple devices. It's a great little flashlight!I'd gladly recommend.

Bought this back in April 2022 and its been a solid keyring flashlight the entire time up until literally a few days ago. Suddenly turns on and will not shut off until the battery runs out. Buttons do nothing while its stuck with the lights on and does get noticeable warm. Once the battery does run out, the buttons seemed to work again although the light doesn't stay on long due to low battery. Some Redditers seemed to also have similar issues either with it suddenly not turning on or not turning off as well.Up until this point however, its been very reliable with surprisingly bright LED's and equally long lasting battery life. Mine definitely has been roughed up a bit from being on my keyring everyday but I never dropped it in water or from great heights. Just the usual dropping of the keys on occasion.I give it 4 stars only due to this recent issue but I don't feel like I got burned on my purchase as I definitely got what I paid for. Possibly better options out there, but likely more costly. Not a bad choice on a budget at all though.
