Works GREAT with Amazon Alexa! Easy to set up (Make sure you turn off VPN first to set up as it needs your location for the Tuya Smart app. After you have it discovered you can turn your VPN back on. If you don't know what VPN is you probably do not have it and don't worry about you will have an easier set up). The USB ports are also controlled with Amazon Alexa and the Tuya app and are grouped together as one switch. In other words, you can NOT control each USB separately or re-name each USB separately. I docked one star for that!!! The electrical plugs CAN be controlled and re-named separately through the Tuya app. Also, the USB ports can be re-named but only as one switch as they ARE grouped together.Other notable features this power strip claims: Timing schedule through the Tuya Smart app, Power Failure Recovery and 1700-Joule Surge Protection.Please note that this Wi-Fi Power Strip is labeled under many different brand names and all have high ratings. I bought the Foseal brand because of the better price. Love having a power strip that I can control through my phone and/or Alexa. This is truly state of the art when it comes to a power strip! You get 3 plugs and 4 USB plug ins as well. It’s perfect because most of the time I don’t have the wall cube I need to charge my phone but I do have the lightening cable. Now I can simply plug the cable into this power strip to charge my phone or iPad. Another thing I love is that is used the Smart Life app which I already use for other lights in my house. You can also use it to schedule on/off times for what ever you have plugged in to the power strip.***Please feel free to follow me or ask me questions about my review. Better than expected. Setup was remarkably easy.Merging with Alexa was also very easy and Alexa voice control works nicely.Three power A/C "grounded" plug-in's, and a set of 4 USB power ports.Over all power strip and all switches can all be controlled ON-OFF via app or Alexa voice.Individual A/C power plug-in's (three) can also be controlled one by one via app or Alexa voice.Set of 4 USB ports can be controlled only as a set of 4, not individually, via app or Alexa voice.Manual power switch ON-OFF push button.Power strip button glows GREEN when in ON state.Small GREEN LED dot next to each A/C plug-in glows GREEN when that switch is ON.USB ports have one BLUE led dot that glows BLUE when all USB ports are ON.Power strip is very reliable and well constructed with many features and status indicators.

Beware the pairing instructions in the app which are completely wrong. To put the strip into pairing mode hold down the power button before and during plugging it in, release, and then the green light will flash. Manufactured by the ShenZhen Ming Yi Heng Industrial Co., LTD and FCC certified with a different app. No indication of UL/CE or other certification beyond FCC. The frustration of bad user instructions cost two stars but might revise later with more experience using the device.

This is definitely a top smart home purchase for me, as it's really handy to be able to tell Alexa to turn my laptop on and off instead of plugging it in and out constantly while watching TV. (Plugging in a laptop constantly can ruin the battery!) I do wish that there was separate controls for each USB however, as it's gotten inconvenient to leave all USB cords either on or off so I don't really use them much. Still pretty handy for electronics, and if I had a bigger garden set up this would be perfect for lighting and fans, too.

This power strip looks and feels very decent.Pros:1. There is enough space between outlets. When a big power supply is plugged in, it won't cover up the outlets beside it.2. A thick and long cord. I compared it with another decent power strip bought from a large chain store and found they are both equally good. The 6 feet long cord definitely comes handy in the old house.3. An easy to use APP that makes the configuration simple and fast. It is way better than another APP I have used.Cons:1. The manual coming with the product doesn't give a couple of key steps for setting up in Alexa. Make sure you search for "Tuya Smart" skill in Alexa and enable it. Then it will be ready to use.Conclusion:Overall, I'm very pleased by this product. I'm happy to see that smart power strips are getting cheaper and more popular. With multiple smart power strips around the house, I have to be smart enough to name them properly :-).

After several false starts, I got it installed.After some emails to the maker, I got it working. I'm happy with the product performance, but it took several days to get there.Kudos for the diligence in achieving satisfaction, I like attentive customer service.I'm still not happy that Alexa must talk to Tuya's server in order for Alexa to control it; I'm not thrilled that the Tuya app needs to talk to Tuya's server in order for my Tuya app to control it. A well-thought-out system would allow control locally in my home (my internet connection sometimes goes flaky).All in all, a good product where it takes some effort to get right.

Ok so my daughter goes to sleep every night with the TV on. I usually have to hunt down the remote and turn it off if I can find it. If I can't find it I have to reach up behind the TV and turn it off. I got tired of it so now I plug the TV into this junction box and from my room and My Amazon Echo I say "alexa turn off the tv" and it's done. Each plug in is nameable and alexa enabled.
