Works Great
Got this hooked up last night. Little blurry, the "smoothing button" didn't seem to do anything but that could be me not understanding how to use it.

Easy to use & effective.
Works perfectly! It enhances the images from your older game systems and is a MUST-HAVE with the newer age TVs. My PS2 looks clearer than ever and it allows my old PS1 games to come through clearer as well. Connects easily to your AV Receiver and I had zero issues setting it up. Highly recommended!

Garbage!
Garbage! Cheap overseas garbage!!! Video blurry and audio hiss so loud that it’s as loud as the game audio. No matter what system or cables used. Avoid at all costs!!

Mid tier scaler
I suppose yes convenient, though the quality is terrible. I am getting an el gato capture card to rule out the quality coming from my old skool capture card, though I highly doubt the fuzziness is coming from there. I thought the clear click capture card and converter was bad but it was better than this setup I currently am running. The image also flickers at time. The line scaling and filtering options really don't enhance anything. This could be convenient at best but seems to mostly be 2x the price it should be.

Amazing! It actually works
I was skeptical that this would work that great. But I’ve tried it on the nes, n64, ps2 and xbox. The picture is clearer than any hdmi adapter I’ve tried or just connecting the svideo or component cables. The lag was gone for guitar hero on ps2 which I was actually surprised. Definitely worth it

Update the official firmware and reset defaults and it works great!
Ordered these while trying to streamline my retro gaming setup. I ordered one for an SNES and one for an N64. When I initially received them I was convinced they were broken. Turning on the console sent a signal maybe 1/10 times and there was around a 30 second delay IF it would even show anything. After going to the manufacturer website and downloading the firmware tool and updating to the 0.8.4 firmware these actually work really well! There is about a 2-4 second startup delay after the console powers on, but they reliably work and I can completely live with this.I previously had been switching consoles using a Retro Scaler 2X which worked great, but was hoping to be able to do less cable juggling and switching by adding some additional scalers into the mix. I think the Retro Scaler 2X is also maybe by Bitfunx. The picture quality with the S-Video + 2X + Smoothing looks basically identical to the Retro Scaler, except now I have slightly less of an octopus setup connected to the TV.The pictures are very clear, without color striping. The edges are crisp but not harsh. It looks as you would hope from a 480p output of a really old console, and is miles better than using component or S-video cables directly. Highly recommend this, but definitely make sure you update the firmware and reset the defaults!!! I don't know why they arrived in such a strange state, but both I received worked very poorly before the firmware update, so I think this is a manufacturing thing.

Close to perfect!
I’ve used a lot of these converters and this is the first one I’ve used that really smooths the fuzz on larger screens. You have to use the red blue green hookup versus the yellow for picture quality if you have that cable. I wish it smoothed a bit more but I’ll take what I can get
