Yes, you will. I am 5'2' tops and it works just fine for me. The seat slides all the way up and will go back only as far as you slide it. I hope that's clear. Anyway, we really like and can both use it. My husband is bigger and heavier and it works fine for him too.

For those who have owned this rower for a year or longer ... how is it holding up?

Purchased mine in dec 2020 and the metal connecting the cyclinder broke, they sent a new part. Now the right arm broke but it’s out of warranty so I’m going to look for a different brand. If yours lasts longer than 2 years I’d say that’s a win.

How much space is needed for this rower while being used?

In position it is about 56 inches long and when you row the arms come out about 36" wide or more depending on your shoulder width. I use it in a space that is 48 inches wide with no problem. If it is in tight quarters you could use it with not as wide pull to save space.

are the foot pedals locked in a stationary position?

The pedals may rock back and forth a bit, but they cannot slide back and forth, or raise/lower.
