No, it comes with its own wireless fob that's not bluetooth. Whether using the receiver or direct USB connection it shows on the computer as a USB keyboard.

Yes, the scanner can work with google chrome os.

Q: Does this scanner enter book title as well as the barcode in the computer files?

The scanner only enters (inputs) the 10 or 13 ISBN into the cell your cursor is in. You can however use one of the ISBN Lookup sites and capture the title there to copy & paste.

Q: Why did I get my scanner gun in a plastic bag when I pay for a new one?

Because they were mass made, and then rebranded. FOR EXAMPLE; I made this scanner gun in mass in 2 different colors. Yellow and Black. I sell to 3 brands. Brand #1 bought Yellow ones and Lazer their brand onto the gun, Made some retail box and package the gun, and sell it for $20. Brand #2 bought the black version and "Printed" their brand onto the gun and did the exact same thing. All while Brand #3 decide to go cheap and bought Both colors, sell it at $10. That's 50% cheaper than both Brand #1 and #2 because Brand #3 avoided buying the retail packaging. Tada!
