LuminarcStackable Glass Bowls Set with White Lids, STD, Clear

Only one lid fits., and lids do not seem durable. I belive I over paid. This set is really only three bowls, at about $7 each. I do not want to be an 'over- returner', so will keep this set, but suggest you think and consider and re- consider and then mull it over some more before you order. I wish I had paid more attention to the other reviews. I am kicking myself. I would not recoomend. I will not re- order.

I have multiples of these bowls, in graduated sizes. They are perfect. They are well made: durable, tempered glass, stack beautifully. They are super versatile: they work great for mixing and all kinds of prep work, but are also simple and attractive enough to go on our table for serving. This set is a particularly useful size and I often find myself using several of these at same time when preparing food.

Indispensable item in my kitchen. I've had Luminarc bowls like this for decades, but over the years the lids start to crack. Was great to refresh my collection.

I love these bowls, but two sets came shattered, as they were not packed sufficiently by both Luminarc and Amazon. So sad, but I won't try again.

I have had these bowls for decades. They have done great service for multiple uses in the microwave in the oven or just a serving dishes. I've even used them to bake artisan bread. Alas I don't need six more but they are great .I've always used either plastic wrap or the elastic plastic bonnets to cover the bowls.  Luminarc 6 Piece Stackable Bowls Set with White Lids, 7.75" and 5" Bowls with 3 lids, Clear

Round glass bowls were visibly warped around the rims. Very cheap plastic lids --- 2 of the 3 lids were too small to fit the bowls. None of the 6 pieces were stamped with the customary Luminarc logo. I’m thinking these are knock offs or quality rejects. I returned.

The thin cheap plastic lids (no marking or county of origin listed) do NOT fit. I have some very old lids at home which are thick red Arc (made in France) which DO fit. So I guess these bowls are from the original mold. Too bad about the lids.

The bowls are great, as expected, but the medium sized one arrived shattered. The Amazon box had some protection around the internal Luminarc box but the bowls themselves are just packed in cardboard by the manufacturer. Note to self: don’t buy glass bowls online!
