Quality Affordable Bearings
I ordered 16 in total for a pair of inline skates. Just received the bearings and installed them. All of them seem spinning freely, and there is no play. Cannot comment on the longevity and performance yet, but want to point out that these bearings are not sealed or permanently lubricated. What's covering the steel balls is just a dust cover. They came oiled, but it doesn't hurt to add a drop of light machine oil during installation. These are all consistent with the current product description (as 2/28/2025).1. "Single, non-contact, removable rubber shield for easy cleaning and less friction"2. "Pre-lubricated with Speed Cream racing lubricant"This also means that1. they're not compatible with water or mud. if the skates rolled over puddle or mud, be prepared to clean and lubricate the bearings afterwards.2. They may need a drop of oil before/during/after season. As long as your bearings are not covered in dust/dirt, to lubricate your bearings, you can just add a drop of oil to the center of each bearing and spin it. The oil will sip through the gap between the dust cover and inner ring. The bad experience from some reviewers may be related to these.BTW, please read the manual coming with the bearings. It has a lot more information that I expect. What is in the manual is consistent with the design of the product.

Bones REDS 🔥 need I say more?
These things aren’t butter but they’re close! Been riding reds for years, what you get for the price is great. They’re smooth and fast enough for street.

From skateboards to wheel chairs, thumbs up.
As a former skater back in the day, like 20 years ago I had familiarity with these. Fast forward to old man mode, I used these to replace the bearings in the casters for my daughter’s wheel chair and she’s flying now.

Fast quiet smooth
Shiny fast and pretty. Used in my wheelchair front caster wheels . Silky smooth spin for 80 seconds. Came with lovely spacers . Very nice

Impressive with a test!
Holy cow! I just replaced the bearings on my kick scooter. Before changing, I flipped my scooter upside down, set a timer, and gave it a solid hand spin. My wheel spun for roughly 20 seconds. After replacing it with reds, it spun for over 1 minute. This should make life a little easier!
