Fun, informative guide to Dublin's quirky side
I've used this guide to help me explore Dublin on my free time during business trips, and after exploring the city for a couple of weeks now, I can give it a big thumbs up. Not everything in the book will appeal to you, but there is more than enough to interest me and get me off the regular streets to visit some of the quirky sights listed in the guide. Finding things can be challenging at times--a more detailed location guide for each sight would be handy, to provide street-level details to help you find the spot. The book is well worthy the price and has become a valuable companion that I slip into my back pocket when I go out to explore the city.

Perfect for my trip to find those hidden sites in Dublin!
I just got back from Dublin and brought this along with. This book was a great resource to find those "hidden" sites in Dublin that weren't all touristy. I have friends that have been to Dublin several times and haven't seen 1/2 the things we did because we saw it in the book. A MUST is the St. Michan's church!! If you are a history buff like I am, you'll really enjoy some of the books recommendations.
