I wouldn't lock my caravan up with this but a good deterrent for a trailer

Trailer theft is on the rise all the time now and I already have one of these for a boat trailer and whilst I am aware that you can hammer these off with enough force and the right tools, I think along with a wheel clamp they make for enough of a deterrant.This is well made, £10 cheaper my the one I bought a year ago and it works and looks exactly the same.Its going to go one a smaller dinghy trailer just to give it a little extra security.What I would say is that the locking pin is a little bit shorter than on my other one, but it locks fine.Can't complain at all but don't rely on one of these too much, you need to use something else with them, but they are a decent deterrant for 90% of folk who eye up your trailer!!

This does not fit my trailer hitch. And can simply be pulled off even when locked

Using this on my boat trailer uk combination with a wheel lock. My host is stored in a patrolled yard but it’s still a good idea. You can’t stop a determined thief but these things will slow them down and cause them to make more noise. This hitch lock works well and you’d need a grinder to cut though it. It’s all you can ask for a lock of this type and I’m very happy with it. Takes seconds to fit or remove.
