I purchased these lighters 2 months ago and they have worked flawlessly. I recently went backpacking in the High Sierras and took one of these along. I bought this torch for the purpose of melting paracord ends. It works perfectly for that. Also it's really easy to fill.

Fabulous lighters. These are a slanted flame which I really appreciate. I don’t like almost getting my eyelashes burnt off using a regular lighter.

These are good, fairy well built lighters. I bought it to take camping and for emergency use. I will say they are hard to fill and there should be a good nozzle,that works for it, sent with the lighters. All in all I’ve just barely started to use them and it works well for my needs.

I have been refilling torches for years. These are impossible to fill using Neon 11x, which I've also been using for years. It has a metal fill nozzle, and when I dispense it into the fill port, it leaks like crazy, and none goes into the torch. I did get one torch to fill, the first time, but after that, it could not be refilled. I even tried "purging" the tank, per some Youtube nonsense (since holding the trigger down when the tank is empty does the same thing). Nothing helped. I of course turned the flame adjustment all the way down before trying to fill them. I even tried filling it with the flame adjustment all the way up. Nothing helped. Don't buy these; try setting your cash on fire with a Bic first. You'll get more value.P.S. If you manage to fill one, don't put it into purse or pocket. There's no safety, and something will mash on the trigger, releasing butane into your purse.
