RevantReplacement Lenses for Oakley Fives Squared - Compatible with Oakley Fives Squared Sunglasses

After reading a number of less than sterling reviews, I wasn't expecting a lot from these lenses, but the original lenses in my Oakley Fives Squareds had seen better days, having provided nearly a decade's use. However, having dropped them a few times, the lenses were a little scratched. I didn't want to throw the sunglasses away and replacement original lenses were about the same price as a new pair of (discounted) sunglasses, so I thought I'd give these Revants a try. I bought the polarising Titanium mirror shield, replacing non-polarising smoke grey lenses. The replacements are a perfect fit (which is the least you should expect given the quality of modern tooling), but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the lenses. They certainly feel light - subjectively lighter than the originals, but that's not to say they feel cheap. The lenses provide at least as much shade as the originals, but are also clearer (potentially due to the build up large and micro-scratches on the older lenses) and have much better contrast than the original (non-polarised) lenses.I was a bit skeptical based on some reviews here, which is why I felt I should leave this review. I couldn't be happier - I hope to get another decade out of my Oakleys and would happily recommend these replacement lenses.

My old lenses were scratched and horrible. Yes, I should have looked after them better really. However, when I found out you can buy new lenses I was pretty skeptical at first. But, I bought them anyway and they fit like they were from the manufacturer. I would highly recommend these as they give your sun glasses a whole new lease of life and come in some beautiful packaging. Recommended.

A little disappointing, but I guess you get what you pay for. These are not anything like the quality of genuine Oakley lenses, but they're a fraction of the price. They're good enough for most situations and fit perfectly. But where I find they let me down is coping with e.g. low sun glare on wet roads where they can cause a sort of "grey out" effect. My scratched old Oakley lenses dealt with anything and even sharp sunlight didn't distort the overall clarity, but these are definitely not as good.But if you want cheap replacement lenses for your Oakley frames which are for occasional use then these are fine.

Good value lenses once you manage to pop them in... they certainly don't go in as smoothly as original ones. I struggled so much with one side that it made me question if I'd bought the wrong size. After checking the size, I persevered and finally got them fitted. If you overlay them with the original lenses, they are cut slightly bigger/differently... makes me wonder why they don't adjust the size! At least they won't pop out easily...

fit is crack on, lenses ar good but not quite up to oakley original standard, when i say this i dont really mean in optical performance, but with quality of mirror coatings arnt, to the depth of an oakley lens, you can still see eye's through lens mirror coatings, i own this lens colour in another pair of oakleys and its just not as high a standard as those, but hey ho, for the price cannot really complain

Ordered the top priced lenses and glad I did. Brought my Oakleys back to life.

Fitted exactly as needed in my Oakley 4+1. I've tried sunglasses in sun but not 100% bright enough to fully check polorising of lenses but seems very good so far.

Great fit and good lenses whilst a few days old but its around 8 weeks and the coating on one lens has come away right in front of the eye. Poor quality coatimg that i woild expect off cheap chinese rubbish. Would not recommend unless you wish to replace every 2 months. Would like a replacement
