Are they Meguaire's pads? No. Did I pay 9 bucks for 4 pads? No. These are perfect for a lot of uses beyond show car applications, I immediately thought of bug and tar uses, they will be great for laying down metal polish, wheel and vinyl dressing and even some hand polish/cut areas where the D/A won't fit. There is a bit of sharpness to the pad, but not major in any way. I wouldn't use these for putting down my final polish/sealant/wax after paint correction but you could. I'm just super particular what I use after all the work of getting the finish where I want it. No heartache on disposable use. They come brilliantly vacuum wrapped, so a great space saver in the cabinet. You can re-hydrate how ever many you want, just takes a minute and stash the rest.

These arrived vacuum sealed, and when I opened them, they were compressed to about the thickness of a piece of paper. They didn’t expand or regain their shape! Poor quality!

The foam pads come inside a vacuumed sealed bag and will appear flat as a pancake but they arent damaged. The pads must be soaked under running water in order to return to its natural size. I used warm water to take out any creases on the pads. Overall they are what you pay for.

They were vacuum sealed and that damaged the product. I left them out overnight hoping maybe they would go back to their original form and it did nothing.
