If you're not used to geology or the spectrum of available rocks this is probably a fantastic starter/entry box. Our 5-year-old son very much enjoyed every rock and gemstone that came out of this Advent calendar however as a as a hobby I study geology and very much passionate about the different classifications of rocks and was a little disappointed on the variety that came in the box as most of these are found in a common query and they are just polished smooth and in packaged in this box it would be nice if there was some more rarity and different qualities other than smooth and shiny.Other than that this was a solid product it was well built and has really good intentions and I think kids absolutely love it.I recommend buying it for any kids that are excited with science and geology.

I am super impressed with the quality of these stones! It was so much fun for us to open and the stones are of great quality! Absolutely recommend, my mom is buying two more :)

Ce calendrier est une surprise très positive! Les pierres sont très belles et de très belles tailles ! Ce calendrier est très qualitatif pour le prix ! Seul regret la description des pierres est en anglais, il faut faire des fiches traduites pour les enfants mais la qualité et diversité des pierres comblent ce problème.

Perfekt für unsere 7 jährige, der die Spielsachenkalender zu kindisch waren. Super schöne Steine dabei, die Lupe war zwar nicht unbedingt zu gebrauchen aber die Steine im Säckchen sind eine tolle Idee!

Surprise par la taille du calendrier (très petite boîte !) mais le contenu est très satisfaisant : pierres de grosse taille et de bonne qualité. Seul bémol, je n'avais pas vu que les explications étaient en anglais.... Plus embêtant pour les enfants, qui ne peuvent pas traduire l'information concernant la pierre. Ne pas oublier d'ouvrir la grosse case dès le début car elle contient un chouette petit sac en tissu pour stocker les pierres et une loupe pour les observer. Ma fille a remarqué la case contenant ces éléments plusieurs jours après l'ouverture du calendrier. Elle est par contre très contente de ce qu'elle reçoit chaque jour !
