Peticure Elite Pet Nail Trimmer for medium to large size dogs

Great grooming tool. I suggest taking the shield off as I did for better control. the only thing that takes away one star is that the tools speed is too high. low rpm is not easy to maintain which is what you want.

Battery does not stay charged. Expected it to last a lot longer than one paw. I picked up one very similar at old time pottery that is electric with a long long cord and it works a lot better. Only cost me 8.99.

The Pedicure arrived promptly but was NOT as pictured: it did NOT have the safety guard included! I should have known this would be the problem as I see that others had bought this item from this-and other-sellers only to find there was no safety guard,. I dont quite understand why this is so . . .the safety guard was originally included with these pet nail trimmers. Without it, this is simply and over-sized, underpowered rotary sander.To be fair, the seller didnt say the guard was included . . .but also neglected to mention that it was not. So, I'm not realy happy with this-but it's also not worth sending it bacj.

This was the Perfect Transaction... though the dogs are less than pleased. Dogs wont let me give them mani-pedi's...

Sandpaper tubes do not fit well and replacement ones in package had delamenated and are useless.

These trimmers are designed to work only on pets with small/thin nails (cats, small dogs). The end cap, that has the hole guide and traps the dust from the nail made it worth the purchase. The end cap is removable and fits on both my corded and cordless dremel tool. Now if I can only find a use for the unit.
