Momentive RTV103 One Part Silicone Sealant, 2.8 Ounce Tube, Black

needed "adhesive" silicone for a shower door application. Worked well.

I have some leather welding gloves that don't allow me to hold hot items for very long. I wanted to be able to glue pads of silicone rubber on the finger tips for better heat protection and improved grip.I have struggled finding an adhesive that bonds silicone rubber very well. Once dried the rubber just peels right off until I tried this product.The pads I glued to the gloves with this product adhered perfectly. I have to really pry and pull to get any separation. Even then the rubber tears right as it gets to the point of trying to separate.My next move was to buy the $30 Sil-Poxy. There is some debate whether that will adhere well to leather. I guess I will never know because for 1/3 the price this seems to do the trick where the other 5 or 6 attempts with various other adhesives failed.I will update if any issues with adhesion develop during use.

Essential for secure mounting of sliding glass roller brackets on our tub enclosure. Common sealers do not harden and heavy glass doors will slip downward.

I had some sliding shower door handlers that kept coming off. Used this, let it cure for 48 hrs and they are on solid now!

I was fortunate to find this adhesive as 100% silicone did not provide me with the adhesion needed to mount the roller mounts to my glass frameless shower doors. this stuff is strong. Although make sure you follow the instruction as if not you could end up getting the same result as 100% silicone.

Used to repair a porcelain English egg coddler by reattaching the top ring. Seems to have made a good seal and is holding up to emersion into simmering water. So, worked as advertised and allowed us to continue to enjoy coddled eggs from a keepsake from our three years in England. Good product that does what the maker says it will do.

Don't know yet about the quality of the product but the tube was punctured and I was not aware until I was fully committed attaching a cook-top to my new counters. By the time I realized the problem it was under my hand so I could not see it and created an emergency situation with the stuff oozing all over not to mention it meant I did not have enough to finish the product and had to scramble to make sure it did not create a larger problem. Make sure you check the tube before you start using in such a situation.
