Very Impressed
I have gone camping in many of my cars over the years, with majority of them being SUVs. When I got the Model 3 I was a little nervous that the camping experience wouldn’t be as good, but this mattress from Lost Horizon really makes it for me. I’ve used full blown air mattresses in the back of my old Ford Explorer before, and yet I slept more comfortably with this mattress in the back of my Model 3. The materials it’s made of are high quality, very soft, and easy to clean. The mattress stows very easily in my frunk and setup and tear down was only about 5 minutes each. I do recommend buying the air pump with it though, that makes all the difference.

UPDATED: Didn’t Hold Air. (OG:Fits 2nd Gen Tacoma Shortbed!!!)
I am absolutely WILD about this bed roll. I have been searching for something that will fit in the back of my 2012 Tacoma 5ft bed truck, but didn’t want something too thick/tall that it wouldn’t allow me to sit up without hitting my head. Those types of truck bed air mattresses also make it harder for the dog to jump up, so I knew I wanted something thinner - but still comfortable. I compared the measurements of the back of my truck to the measurements on the product information before ordering, and was pleasantly surprised to find that it fits literally perfectly.OVERALL:Love at first sight. I still can’t believe it actually fits so perfectly. It is very similar to a thermarest, because it is solid foam that inflates and holds air to prevent the foam from compressing and allowing you to feel the ground underneath you. I haven’t spent the night on it yet, but just testing it out it is extremely comfortable. I feel like the cover is tough enough that I won’t have to worry about my dog’s claws poking holes. Although packing it back down was not a walk in the park, I feel like it’s worth it to finally find something this comfortable that fits so perfectly.SETUP:Initially I was going to see how long it took to fully self inflate, but I got impatient after an hour and a half and decided to pump it up myself. I included a photo of the mattress after self inflating for an hour and a half, and you will see that it still has some wrinkles showing because it is not fully inflated. You could totally sleep on it like this, but it’s much more comfortable if you inflate it further. I always have a small pump in my truck so this is not a problem for me. A surprising feature that I had not noticed before I purchased was that the carrying bag actually also doubles as a pump. If you didn’t happen to have a pump with you this would definitely work but would take much longer. I just used my pump that plugs into my truck and inflated the rest of the way in seconds.I did include a picture of the air intake valves cap which came off while I was setting up. Hopefully this does not affect its ability to hold air at any point, but I was able to get it back on.BREAKDOWN:This was the not so fun part. After flipping the air intake valve to deflate (which prevents it from taking air back in as you deflate) I spent about 15 to 20 minutes manhandling this thing to get it rolled back up to my satisfaction. I rolled it and unrolled it three times before I was able to get it back down to the size you see in the picture. Again, it was work, but worth it.UPDATE 6.25.24After being so excited about this mattress, I am very disappointed to have to amend my review. Took this on a three night camping trip, and it did not hold air. Each time I re-inflated it, it would’ve eventually lose. Finally I investigated further, and after filling it tight with air and listening closely around the air intake valve, I could hear the slightest hiss of air coming from the self-inflating/deflating mechanism. I fiddle with it for a while, trying to adjust it to see if I just had the valve flipper in a bad position, but no way that I adjusted it was completely airtight. Luckily, the foam saved me from being completely uncomfortable. But foam is just not enough for the back of a truck bed with deep ridges. As you can read from my original review, the self inflating and deflating mechanisms never worked very well to begin with. I have $15 air mattresses from Walmart that have lasted me way longer than that. I think at the end of the day I’m going to be looking for something that has a more simple inflate only mechanism. It’s not like air mattresses are difficult to roll up to begin with. Will be returning this. And another thing that came to mind, this thing does not pack down well at all and is very heavy. So I can’t imagine how a Tesla user would have room for this in their car in addition to other camping gear?

Excellent Quality and Comfortable for Model Y
This mattress is made of quality material with good seems. It inflates easily and fits snuggly into the cargo space of the Model Y. It is very comfortable and fits one person nicely and 2 people closely. Deflating it takes effort but the self inflating feature is excellent.

Pricey but sooo comfortable
Yes, this matzo is a little expensive compared to other Model Y car mattresses but it is so comfortable! Much much better than my previous inflatable mattress. Also great as an emergency mattress for surprise house guests! Highly recommended.

A hole appeared after just two months of using
Originally, I felt incredibly lucky to snag it on Amazon.fr since it was constantly out of stock. The comfort it provides during sleep is undeniable. That is why I still gives two stars instead of one!Unfortunately, during the initial uses, I encountered difficulty removing the air when folding it for storage. I had to use a electric pump to help me deflate the mattress. To my dismay, after just two months, I discovered a hole in the mattress. This raises a concern - did I receive a used mattress? Will using it further damage it?Now that the 30-day return window is closed, I'm unsure how to address the hole, especially considering the folding difficulty. Can anyone advise me on repairing the hole?
