As I said on the Head Line, this hammer is just as good as the Hilti Hammer it replaced for a fraction of the cost.

Not a weekend tool
Bought two of these four years ago and both have performed flawlessly drilling thousands of holes. Just bought two more.

15 minutes and dead - spewing oil
15 minutes and 20 inches of drilling 1" holes in a rock for it to spew oil all over me and the rock that I was drilling. I think DeWalt is the a great balance between price and quality, but this unit is the worst ever. I expect more! Nice unit for ergonomics. It's a hammer drill so it will work you, but I hoped for several years of it working me. Smelled like an electrical failure when I opened the case but electrically it is working after spewing oil. Disappointed and disgusted!

It's lighter than the previous model and with the shocks it puts less fatigue on the body.
