Great buy for the price
These shoe stretchers were exactly what I needed to stretch the to box of my Louboutin Pigalle. I left them in for a few days and they feel so much better. I love the attachments for targeted areas also. Does the job. Good for the value. Storage bag was a plus. And they didn’t seem flimsy or like it would break. I grabbed an old pair of socks to put on the stretcher before inserting to protect the inside so nothing would stick or ruin the delicate leather inside.

Worked surprisingly well
I ordered adorable vintage heels to go with a dress I wanted to wear to a holiday party and the shoes were just too narrow. I knew they were going to kill my feet and I couldn't wear them as is. I came across this nifty gadget on Amazon and decided to give it a try. I REALLY wanted to wear the vintage shoes!! I sprayed the front of the shoes with water and used the stretcher on the almost the widest setting and let it sit for 24 hours. The next day I checked, and I found that it did widen the shoes. I sprayed them and used the widener again for a 2nd time. One the 3rd day I noticed a pretty big difference. I ended up wearing the shoes to my holiday party last weekend thanks to this shoe stretcher! You would never think that something so silly looking would work so well but it really did. I didn't give it a full 5 stars because the quality of the product was kind of flimsy and cheaply made. I do recommend this product though to make heels more more comfortable.

Good Except For Easily Fixed Fatal Flaw
Unless you buy the truly professional Foot Fitter now retailing at over $60 each, these are an acceptable alternative EXCEPT they'll fail on you if don't fix the flaw. Stretchers are designed to both lengthen and widen. The center shaft widens, the outer shaft pushes against the base of the toe unit to lengthen. This is the flaw--the washer between the shaft and the foot is both too small and too thin. Pressure on the washer causes is to bend and chew up the wood. It must be replaced, which fortunately is easy to do. A screw on the side separates the parts. You will need to gently remove the small washer at the tip to remove the plug. Gently pinch the tip with a small pliers until you can easily remove the small washer. (When done you should replace that washer too with a sturdier one.) Remove the old washer and replace it with a larger sturdier fender washer, restore the unit and gently spread the tip out to hold the small washer. Put it all back together and you've got a stretcher that will hold and last much longer. Good luck! Note: this is a cheap fix. Would that the manufacturer did it for you.

It works great even on hard leather shoes!
I bought a pair of Doc Marten loafers that were slightly to small and very hard to break in and I have sensitive feet and ankles so I was very disappointed as the style is not available anymore. So, 8 bought this product in hopes that is would work. I put it on as tight as I could and then left them for a period of time(almost 2 years due to an injury). I decided to pull them out and test them and they fit perfectly! So happy!

Definitely not worth the money
Bought in Jan 2025. Used 3 times & it broke. Had this one not broke, they would be very good. Did what they were suppose to do. Easy to use. But not worth the $$.
