Still going strong 1 1/2 years later
I waited to write this review, because I find that although "newly bought" reviews are somewhat helpful, it's also good to know if the thing still works years later! I bought this medium-priced juicer because I didn't know if my celery juicing was going to be a fad or really a lasting thing in my life. Due to budget concerns, I wanted a juicer that got a LOT of juice out of my organic produce. It does get a lot of juice out of the produce! Better than my champion, and keeps the juice cool and does not heat it up. I have used it twice a day for 4-5 days a week now for almost 1 1/2 years with no problem. When I first got it, I learned immediately that you MUST cut up stringy things like celery into 1-2 inch pieces before throwing them in. Apples have to be cut into small chunks, as do most everything else. I'm a fast chopper in the kitchen, so this did not throw me off too much. But for those of you who want to lazily cram celery stalks into your juicer first thing in the morning without thinking, this is NOT your juicer. You need something more heavy-duty and expensive!So...for no other reason than the fact that I'm a consumeristic American, I thought maybe I needed to upgrade and buy something fancier this year, now that I've affirmed that I'm a juicer gal for life. I tried all my friends' fancy heavy duty juicers and guess what? I was SO glad to get back to my Tiluxury at home. It IS tricky to clean. Takes a bit of getting used to. But I found my friends' fancy juicers to be a total pain to clean also. ALL juicers are a pain to clean until you get used to just *doing the clean* right away when you use it.I'm keeping this until it dies, and using it 1-2 times a day!

Hard to understand setup instructions and cleanup not a breeze
The instructions that come in the box suck!!!! They are hard to understand and do not clearly assist with putting the thing together or explaining why their are 3 different strainers. I ended up going to the listing on Amazon and was able to figure things out from there. I finally got it set up and it juiced everything really well. It was neat how it separated out the roughage (which would make great compost for a garden) and I like how you could strain out the pulp or drink it as is. I leaned the hard way to peel your oranges before running them through the juicer. It had no problem juicing them but of course the juice was super bitter.Cleaning it was not super easy. Part of it was but the strainer got clogged easy and was hard to clean out the pulp even with the provided brushOverall I give it it good marks and willEnjoy it

Carrot and Apple Terminator! Parsley -- not so much.
It works really well for most of the things I juice daily. It does carrots and apples like a dream. The juice that comes out is very fresh. Very little taste of oxidation like another juice I had previously. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that although it will juice parsley and celery. You have to pre-chop it into small chunks and even then the tough fibers sometimes clog up the works. Since I like to do parsley everyday to help boost cellular energy this can be a real frustration.

Good only for occasional use
If you are juicing frequently, spend some more money to buy a higher quality one. I only use it once a week. So far it does its job. However, with that amount of price, I expected better pressing quality. It is not very good for high fiber veggies and majority of the time the pulps are still very wet, but yet the juice contains a lot of pulps even using the finest strainer. I feel like I wasted a lot of fruits and still didn't get the high quality to juice, which is very frustrating. And it is not even close to "slow" in terms of juicing. I will still use it until I want to increase my frequency of juice.

Best Juicer I've had so far, worth the extra $$
All of the masticating juicers I've seen pretty much work the same. An auger, a sieve, etc. What separates this one are the following:- It comes with 3 different sieves. One for low pulp, lots o pulp and one for sherbert- It comes with SPARE PARTS! The hinges and gear that can wear down easy come in the package- It comes with cleaning tools. Easy to get if they weren't in the package, but nice to have.- It's much easier to assemble than my other juicers. This makes the disassembly after juicing much easier.- Best for last...it's QUIET. I don't mean compared to high speed centrifuge juicers either. This is the first juicer that's so quiet I was able to talk on the phone whilst juicing. I could fall asleep to the motor running. All in all, a very high quality device. Very happy with it!Update 2/2020: It's been about 1 and 1/2 years now and it's still my 2nd favorite item in the kitchen (next to my Foodi). Still runs like a champ, is quiet. I've figured out with the help of the manual that if I chop celery into 1/2 inch or less pieces before juicing, cleanup doesn't require scrubbing. Love this thing!

Love this juicer!
The media could not be loaded. After having 2 kids, I decided to buy a slow masticating juicer for them. I am glad I got this one! I usually make apple juice and orange juice for them since they love them so much. For me, I usually do the ginger and celery mix juice since it can help the immune system. I also do the purple cabbage juice sometimes. The most surprise part for me is the machine barely has noise and easy to install and clean. I can prepare the juice when they nap and won’t wake them up. Some tips here after I use this for several times. When I do celery juice, I cut celery no more than 1 inch. Gender cut small pieces. I have a masticating juicer before, I can put whole celery in but the juice is less than my current slow masticating and taste not as good as slow masticating. I guess it maybe has some oxidation reaction happen during the process. I changed to this slow masticating juicer coz my old masticating juicer is pretty loud and there had more fruit marc in the juice. My kids not really like marc in their juice. For me, I put some fruit into my celery and ginger juice. It will taste better :). I already recommend to my friends. And also I think price is affordable.
