This cover is lovely and soft but slippery. I use this cover on my sofa for my dog. My poor dog just slides all the time when he is sitting his paws keep sliding away from him, and when he tries to get on sofa he just slips off. It isn't padded at all, just has longer hair in circles that gives the impression that it's padded. But, it doesn't slide at all in my leather sofa. It does look the part.
