Purchased for a friend getting married because her and her future husband love puzzles. This will hopefully be a fun and different challenge for them.

This is the only one of the Odd Pieces puzzles that I've had a chance to do, but I am looking forward to trying another one. The concept of the puzzle being a few moments later in time is a cool one and it was fun to try to figure out that the puzzle looked like from the drawing. There are lots of little humorous touches that one notices as one assembles the puzzle. And the ending of this one was great. Got a good belly laugh from it. As far as the puzzle pieces are concerned, the quality is excellent. They fit together in a positive way and I did not find any delaminations or other issues that seem to plague a lot of puzzles these days.This would make a great gift for your jigsaw puzzling friends and relatives.

Putting together the puzzle with the image changed in some way allows just the right amount of challenge, and it's kinda cool to try to figure out what's happening in the scene. The puzzle pieces are great quality and the packaging is clearly thought out well (though I think it's the packaging that makes the price so high – that isn't necessary, in my opinion).Strangely, I got two folded image posters (not the solution image, which is more like a card and shows what the actual puzzle image is); don't know if it was a fluke or if they just include two in each box for some reason. Unfortunately and INCREDIBLY disappointingly, I got to the end and I'm missing two pieces, which is ironic since one of the checklist items references "the missing piece" I've been looking for. Ha! I would have given the puzzle 4 or 5 stars but I have to rate it 2 stars because of the missing pieces and I can't even share the love of the puzzle with a friend. What would that look like gifting a puzzle knowing two pieces are gone? Dang. I've reached out to the company to see if they will send me the missing pieces. We'll see.

I sent this jigsaw puzzle to my adult daughter - she loves it!
