I highly recommend Eufy and have my friends referred to use this company for their home surveillance. Reliable devices, good network, super clear video. Easy setup. And when there’s issues it’s easy o get hold of support and they troubleshoot or replace your device! Very reliable

Works extremely well and a good value
Setup was easy - I would recommend setting it up before you install it, especially if you have the Home Base for video storage!. Picture is excellent and a good value for the price compared to other units. Love that I don't have to subscribe to video storage. Zoom is excellent

euFy seems to switch words around to sway the consumer
Been using Amazon for many years, multiple orders weekly. Never have left this low of a star rating. And I've never left a negative verbal review ever, till now. But this absolutely grinds my gears, especially when the whole reason I bought this cam (glad I didn't buy more, before testing this one) was for the "Color Night Vision".But you can see it, in their own words. There is no other option. You cannot disable the "spotlight" feature. Let me translate, it makes more sense if you swap the 2 sentences position.24/7 recordings are usually black and white, but show color when motion is detected. Turns on the spotlight when motion is detected while in dark conditions...This is a contradiction in a few different ways. Im not going into every aspect. But ALL of these options for the cameras recording behavior IN DARK CONDITIONS.And for "Color Night Vision" it turns on the spotlight which is in color when IT DETECTS MOTION. Otherwise it usually is in black & white.... wow lol unrealIn addition, everybody knows that cameras don't always detect every motion or event that they should, so it will be in B&W. Also, for every false detection, leafs, tree or fence gate moving/blowing in the wind, etc. you got a spotlight flashing in your own, and your neighbors window at night. Sometimes it stays on for hours, with no apparent movement in sight. Unless you switch to B&W and then back to Colored Night Vision. But it's "Colored" Night Vision right? SmhWhat is the point of Colored Night Vision in this instance? You should have the option to disable the spotlight and actually have true "Colored Night Vision" cause this ain't it.Also what is the point of having security/surveillance cameras if you can't view them all at once on your display/device/or web portal? Every other company has that feature. But not euFy. Your so called "special encryption" means absolutely nothing to me, no value. What does have value is the money I spent on these cameras, for you to nerf the functionality of. That cost 4 times as much as the other camera companies that do have these abilities. I doubt your encryption is any better than theirs anyway. Even if so, I'd rather disable it and have full functionality. With that being said, every other company can view multiple cameras at the same time, while encrypted. Is euFy incapable of encoding such firmware?Lastly, this is not true 4k Ultra. Generic 2.5k, if that.I get better quality and performance from my Reolink camera, which actually has functional "Colored Night Vision" which does not turn on the spotlight as it has the setting to disable the spotlight. If I could disable the spotlight for "Color Night Vision" on my euFy Camera, and view more than 1 camera at the same time, I'd be content.

a great wired, static camera for addition to your Eufy security system
We installed this wired camera at our bird feeding station not intended to be part of our security system. However, with its wide field of view it is now pulling double duty. The clarity and sensitivity are outstanding and the microphone works so well, it picks up an incredible amount of audio.

Easy and so far reliable
Product is easy to install and connect and pretty much operates on its own. It is a good value for the money. The sound quality is excellent. I enjoy hearing all of the birds singing this Spring.

Not Ready for Prime Time
I am a longish time eufycam user, with multiple S330 solar cameras in my yard. I wanted 24/7 recording, though, and bought this to replace the primary one (the others are all far from a power outlet.)Simply put, this device is inferior to the S330s, for reasons I cannot entirely fathom:1) The motion detection is horrific for me. I got occasional false positives from the S330, but mounting the e330 in the same spot, I get endless false positives. I have the camera 7 feet up, angled down (and angled it further down after a few days to try to test), but if it's raining, I will get hundreds of alerts an hour. This makes any valid alert invisible to me. The IR camera is catching the rain, which is triggering an alert, but the solar cameras had no issue with this. Seems the AI should be trainable around this, but several weeks in and I get these constantly2) Continuing that thought, the camera is overlooking my yard. I have set up a zone so no plants are in the yard. Regardless, I get motion alerts from the shadows of trees. Tall trees flank my yard, so they cast soft shadows throughout the day. If it's mildly windy, I get an alert. More baffling, when the sun comes out from a cloud and the shadows appear, not even moving, I get an alert3) More motion alert goodness! This one is minor, but the camera also gives an alert when it goes from night vision back to color. So, I get an alert every morning when it gets bright enough. This isn't a huge deal, but is kind of hysterical - it thinks its own flip from night to day is motion4) The mount isn't great. Far fewer degrees of freedom than prior mounts. I am not sure why this is, but it feels like cutting corners. It would be nice to have had a ball socket, as well, to be able to angle both down and sideways. Instead, you have one plane of motion, so if you want the camera angled both down and to the side, as I did with my e330, you're out of luck5) There's no timelapse, which seems a large missOverall, there's a lot to like here, and the motion detection issues are software solvable, but for the time being, I have to turn notifications off to sleep at night (it's been very rainy of late), and I can't review the prior night because of the hundreds of raindrops I'm getting alerts for. I'd turn off "motion" alerts, and stick with people and animals, if it consistently identified people and animals as people and animals and not the default "motion."eufy. Please. Fix this rain issue.5)

Great product! need better/more support
I really appreciate Anker and it's products. I am a fan. I have issues with my system and when you call support, they are basically wasting 5 minutes of your time before telling you "due to high call volume, customer service is not available" and asking you to email. I tried several times, across several days, in various hours of the day and I am getting same results. I did get through eventually. I wish they were better staffed.Apart from that, Eufy designed a really quality product. AI still need a bunch of work. I keep getting alerts when the system mistaken my grill as a human invader.
