Carrera Evolution Speed Patrol Slot Car Race Set

Unlike other tracks I have owned, this track features clips underneath that keep the track together. Not needing to tighten the connections after a few minutes of use is a very nice and important feature and a vast improvement when compared to older tracks. The instructions that come with the set could be better. I am familiar with slot car tracks, so it was easy for me to figure out 95% of the assembly. The only items I am not sure of are the bridge supports, attachment of these is not explained or illustrated very well. They appear to be working well.The track is an analog 1/24th scale track so it has ample space to run 1/32 cars, as well as the 1/24 scale. I have several cars in my collection, some 1/32 and some 1/24 scale. The controllers are reminiscent of the old Cox thumb activated throttle controls of years past. Personally, I prefer thumb control over the trigger type. The power supply is a 2 prong 120 VAC if placed on the bottom outlet of a 2 outlet conventional home connection, there is enough space to use the outlet above it. The length of the track is close to 8 Feet, and the width is a tad over 5.5 feet. The guardrail system is nothing short of awesome, not the cheap soft plastic that comes off and constantly has to be re-attached.Overall I am very happy with the track. Instructions, not so much. Carrera should add a video on assembly to their website. This would complement the instructions and provide clarity on some of the assembly, particularly the bridge supports and how these attach to the track. One of the cars I got doesn't work. I sent a copy of my receipt and explained the issue. I am sure there is not going to be a problem getting it replaced. This product is manufactured in China. I was always under the impression that Carrera did all their manufacturing in Minnesota.I would definitely recommend Carrera to my friends and anyone who is looking for a home track.

I'm 63 years old and needed to feed my inner child. The best Christmas present I ever received (no, not a Red Rider BB Gun), was a Strombecker 1:32 Slot Car Set in 1967. I hounded my Dad to get it for me, and he gave in. He didn't make much money as a minister, but spent $33.00 for that present. I couldn't wait to open it. The wait was agonizing and I was sure I wouldn't make it to Christmas. Well, I did, and I was over joyed with the slot cars and track. I spent hours assembling and disassembling the track to make different crazy layouts. I decided the other day that after 53 years that little boy needed to play. Again, the anticipation was intense and when it arrived, I got to it and set up the track, plugged in the power supply and controllers and away I went - back to 1967!

1st off, Shout Out to "GigaStoreFL" for making this happen price wise and to UPS for getting it to me FAST!This is the 2nd Carrera Rennbahn System that my son and I own. The 1st is the Carrera GO! series, the DTM Master Classic race track, 1:43rd scale. Let's call that "His" learning slot car racing.This track went together with little or no Effort, the directions are visually easy to use. One side is in German and the flip side is English, Not hard to understand. My son and I put it together in about 45 mins. that's including putting on the Guard Rails. That's one of the Taxing process of assembly that and NOT BENDING or DAMAGING the THIN CONTACT RAIL Connections. I Inadvertently Bent two out of Wack. I have Mini pliers but could not find them so, I repaired / straighten the two pieces with a pair of Hemostats and continued putting the track together. This TRACK ISN'T Hard to put Together, the HARDEST part, NOT BENDING the RAIL TABS and . . . . PUTTING on the Guard Rails!Yep, Daddy's Going Digital! I wanted to from the beginning but, the Carrera Rennbahn system that I wanted to get was $699.99, "Carrera Digital 132 GT Championship" via Amazon but, that track isn't any larger than this one and has that HEFTY Price tag just because it's digital Ready?NOPE, Just Ain't Gonna Do It! Hence me getting this Evolution track and UPGRADING it to DIGITAL as well as Making it BIGGER, STRONGER FASTER 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣!OH 😲 Yeah, these Analog cars are Bi-Directional? ? ? ? Did not know that they can be switched to run the cars F2F, Head On? NO ONE ON YouTube that I watch Mentions the fact that, these cars are capable of running in both directions or . . . . . 🤔 Maybe It's Just this track since it is the "POLIZEI Porsche" and Lamborghini Huracan? ? ?In Summation, I'm Happy, He's Happy with the Upgrade to 1:24th/1:32nd Evolution Speed Patrol Carrera Rennbahn System! Thanks Carrera 🤣😁!The Evolution track can be switched frm Analog to DIGITAL! That's what I wanted,Carrera Evolution is what we have and I plan to make it BIGGER and DIGITAL 😁!

Got this for my 8 year old son and it was a hit! There is a bit of a learning curve figuring out how the tracks go together, but once you get it, the rest is easy. The cars are WAY faster than the track will allow so continuous “full throttle” operation is not possible. It’s really cool to figure out how to drift these cars through turns. The Lamborghini is much wider and longer than the Porsche so it corners a bit better.

Takes time to learn how to assemble the track. Once assembled, it's non stop action. Had not raced a slot car in 50 years.

Per un prodotto di questo target mi aspettavo una qualità impeccabile, e invece...Uno dei contatti dell'innesto dell'alimentatore era difettoso, con la punta di una forbice ho leggermente spostato la lamella e ora sembra andare..., i supportini per il guardrail veramente debolucci già 4 spaccati tutti nello stesso punto, rimessi a posto con un po' di attack... insomma mi aspettavo migliore qualità nei materiali e nel controllo.Per il resto sicuramente superiore come prodotto alla linea GO! che possedevo prima e che era veramente un giocattolino.Resto però un pochino deluso.

Wir haben die Bahn gekauft und gleich aufgebaut. Leider hat sich schon beim Aufbauen bemerkbar gemacht: Qualität ist anders. Die Steckverbindungen teilweise schwer bis nicht komplett zusammensteckbar. Kontakte der Autos mit der Stromversorgung miserabel. Ein gleichmäßiges fahren war nicht möglich. Höhepunkt war dann, das nach einem Tag eine Fahrspur überhaupt nicht mehr funktionierte. Also alles wieder in den Karton, zurückgeschickt und reklamiert.Dies lief alles Problemlos somit immerhin zwei Sterne für den Service!

Mooie wagentjes!Degelijk en doordacht en stevig gebouwd.Biedt zeker uitdaging om de wagentjes goed onder controle te houden, deze gaan zeer snel op de bochten af, en gaan daardoor ook zeer hard uit de bocht als je niet oplet.Minimum leeftijd van 8 jaar is zeker niet zonder reden opgegeven.De breekbare kwetsbare deeltjes van de wagens kunnen er afgenomen worden uit voorzorg, anders zullen deze snel sneuvelen bij de crashes.Klein nadeel voor wedstrijdjes: beide voertuigen hebben elk hun eigen uitgesproken karakter qua wegligging. Gaat niet echt gelijk op. De Porsche gaat veel sneller driften of in overstuur gaan (ook zeer leuk om daar in te oefenen!). De Lamborgini wagen ligt heel strak en vast op de weg. De magneten onder de basis zijn tussen beide wagens ook anders georiënteerd. Wil je een gelijke wedstrijd, dan zou je best nog een extra setje wagens aanschaffen van gelijke soort.Verder heel leuke baan als basis voor veel meer in de toekomst!

Hat nichts mehr mit der Carrera Qualität der 80er gemeinsam.Billigster China Schrott. Absolut nicht zu empfehelen.
