High contrast front sight
Purchased for an old Sig P229. Very visible large yellow front sight contrasts well with my plain rear sights. The tritium glows fine so far, but I don’t care that much. If I can see the tritium, it’s too dark to PID the target.

Brighter than normal, not as bright as some
Bought these to put on my Diamondback AM2, it accepts Glock sights. I did no want to spend $100+ on an entire sight set because I only paid $230 for the pistol. I am used to Truglo night/fiber sights, specifically the TFO/TFX. The rear U notch on the AM2 is sufficient, you only really need a night sight in the front. So I compared for the price range, only thing cheaper were Glock factory front sights (which are meeeehhhh, they work) and some other brand which is a name brand but they just looked cheap. Looked this yellow front Night Fision sight. Then just so happened to see it on an Iraqveteran8888 video, then purchased it.Just installed it, just stick in the slot and use your Glock sight tool to tighten the tiny bolt. Comes with a tiny dab of Loctite, I advise you apply a little more blue Loctite to the threads. Tighten and you're gtg. Let the LT dry for 24 hours before firing.I love the way it looks in the light, very bright yellow sight and you can see the tritium vile in the center. In medium light it just does okay; in a dark room or around dusk the other light tends to wash out the white/tritium front sight. This is where the TFO/X sights glow like crazy. These sights are definitely not as bright as those, but are also about 40% cheaper in overall cost for the front/rear sets; and they are not combo fiber sights. To be fair I had to send my entire top slide (yikes) to Truglo to get them to tade out the TFOs because the fiber and tritium vile fell out of the front notch! Then I had to pay the difference for the TFX sights.Anywho, hey are brighter than my Sig factory night sights on my P320. I am estimating that Night Fision's claim of "30% larger tritium vile" in their sights is true. Are there better sights out there? Yes. But I believe these are well made and are A+ for the price. I bought the front for $52 and the set can be had for less than $100. The TFX will be my go to sights, but this front sight will work perfectly fine for my carry gun.

Sight cracked when installing
I used a sight pusher and test fitted the sight before install. Nothing was too tight and install went easy as usual. After install and centering I noticed both sides of the blade were cracked.

Fits Taurus GX4 (&G3C)
This is so much easier to see than the original front sight that came with my Taurus GX4, that I’ve used as my EDC for about 2 years. (See picture with OGXX, YGXX & Original.)I bought TUA-253-001YGXX first. That one (253) does NOT FIT a Taurus GX4 because it comes with the bolt that requires a Glock tool & even if you use the Glock tool, it still isn’t right for a Taurus GX4. (I read that this part is interchangeable between Taurus G3C & GX4, and at least one other Taurus. I have no first-hand knowledge to confirm this.)This TAU-250-001-OGXX fits perfectly. Remove the original and install this new one with a 5/64th inch Allen wrench or a 2 mm Allen wrench. The yellow (YGXX) looks brighter against black cloth in my picture, but the orange (OGXX) was easier for my eye to pick up as a front sight. (That’s my personal preference.)Thank you, Amazon. Being able to return the Glock-sized front sight with no hassle & no cost is a real benefit.

I'm just glad I found a night sight for my g2c; could be better
I tried just a front night sight, and also both sights with tritium on friends' guns. Three dots seemed a little busy, so I went with just the front. The orange ring helps in normal light, even without the tritium. The tiny radioactive dot is not super bright, but when the lights are out I can aim. And that's the point.

Bright, looks nice, but a nightmare to install and is loose. Don't bother.
Yes, it is bright and would be a great sight but installation is an effing nightmare. Purchased for a Taurus GX4XL, the stem of the screw that holds the sight is too short and cannot be tightened fully. Unfortunately it is past the return period so I wasted my money. I do not recommend this product.
