Between Love and Loathing

4.5🌟 2🌶️This was what I expected out of the first book! I’m very happy I continued on with the series, because I loved this. 💕Dominic was so dominant and sexy, and I adored the way he gave Clara the space to own her words and actions after being trampled on for the majority of her life. Plus the mouth on that man… whewwww left me feeling FERAL. 🥵👏🏼Clara was a strong FMC, and I loved the way Shain represented her disease. I resonated with Clara, because I’m fighting my own battle with migraine disease, and it can be so debilitating sometimes. But to see Clara fall down and get back up every time, was honestly just really inspiring to me. She had her bad days, as do I, and as many people do when battling their own bodies.. but I loved the way she was eager to keep going, to keep pushing through, despite her pain.I adored their love story and the battle they fought to get their HEA. I even loved the ending!! I’m not big on endings, but truly loved how their story came together. 💕There’s also something that happened at the end that pulled at my heart strings and made me tear up. It was honestly one of the most beautiful moments of the book, and it made me respect the heck out of Dom. 🫶🏼So excited for the third book, which I think is Dex & Keelani!! 😍

Declan Hardy may have my heart but Dominic Hardy can have everything else 🤣 be my enemy bully me pick on my color choice control me and yet it was very spicy and sweet 5⭐ read and let me tell you when I say a restraunt a kitchen and preparing food will never look the same for me. Dominic is possessive and so domineering and yet Clara is a feisty and stubborn when she finally feels confident with him. The way he reacts to her health and stands up to her mother yes please 😉 give me a man like that any day. Shain is a very talented author and will always have my support I own the Fractured Freedom complete series and I will have all three Hardy boys when I get Dex story I'm so excited ☺️

First of all, the first book was not my favorite storyline but I still enjoyed it. However, the second book "Between Love and Loathing" it's an amazing read.I couldn't put this book down and I finished it with one sitting. The growth with both Dom and Clara was so beautiful with each of them supporting and caring for one another. I really like how Dom always push Clara to face challenges and fight for what she wants, making her stronger and powerful. I relate to Clara's characteristics a lot and to see her grow and become a strong confidence woman, I just can't help myself to love her character even more.Storyline: 5/5 📖📖📖📖📖Spicy: 4/5 🌶🌶🌶🌶Characters chemistry: 5/5 💞💞💞💞💞Overall rating: 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
