I am 5’4” and 165 pounds. I bought this because I’ve been working on a project that requires me sitting on the floor for many hours every day and my back and hips were in a lot of pain. I researched every bean bag chair in this price range before I chose this one. I have previously owned two of the 8-foot LoveSac chairs and can offer some comparisons. Because of my floor project, the size of this chair is perfect! I sit low enough to the floor to do what I need to do yet comfortably high enough that my legs, knees and hips are not in pain. If you have kids or grandkids and want to play in the floor near them - I would definitely recommend this. I don’t have kids but I thought of that because I’ve seen videos of grandma’s carrying inflatable chairs to play dates. This chair is stuffed with crushed foam just like the more expensive LoveSac chairs but it’s stuffed very tight so it offers maximum support. I’ve sat in mine for about 40 hours over 3 days and I haven’t noticed any packing or distortion of the shape at all. The back is still firm as well. I do lean back in mine some and it holds its shape fine. Now, if I were lounging in it, it might distort some. The foam is very tightly packed. If packing concerns you, you would just have to not sit in it for a while so it could poof up again. Or set it out in the sun on a warm day. You can’t really toss this around the way you can LoveSac chairs because their foam is less packed - you won’t get the same result. If I were buying a chair to lounge in all the time and had the space m, I would look for a bigger chair. For an occasional chair, this is comfy, perfect, and a great value for the money! As for shedding - some reviewers complained about that. I didn’t notice any shedding at all but vacuum it. It’s not something that will shed permanently.

My daughter LOVeS this chair! It’s well made, soft, comfortable and surprisingly, quite heavy! This is an excellent chair for teenagers! I have a feeling she’ll take it to college too!

Love this chair, but the box it comes in is extremely heavy! Get some help before you get unbox it.

It’s a sturdy and comfy chair just much heavier than it looks.

The chairs are much smaller than in the pictures and video. A bit firm but soft. They will be good for kids or pets but I think too undersized for adults. Especially if one is on the taller side. Great customer service tho.

I was worried because of some of the negative comments but looking at the pictures it looked like a good chair so I took a chance. I'm glad I ordered it! I love it and is very comfortable and easy to get out of! It's a good size too. 🙂

The bean chair is much smaller than it was represented online. Very disappointing. It showed grown person sitting on it with plenty of room but not the case at all! Very deceiving. Since it expands there is no way to return it. Over priced for what it is.

Bought this for our play room for our 3 and 5 year old. Everyone loves it! Guest sit on it of all sizes my 12 year old son is always found on it. Soft, comfortable and easily moved. Definitely would recommend.
