Use wire cutters to cut down rods!
Product was delivered as advertised and was easy to install after I figured out how to cut the plastic rods. As others have noted, scissors do not work to cut down the plastic rods. My wife saw me struggling and suggested I use wire cutters. They worked like a charm. Enjoy.

Worth the money if you don’t mind the adjusting
Good product and value for the money. But be prepared to slowly make repeated cuts to get it to the right fit.
