So far so good… we’ve had these a few weeks and they’re still well used and well loved by my daughters and are holding up well so far. They both love that they are discrete can be worn under their school clothes. Only suggestion would be to add the option of a shorter cord as they are very long

Purchased this for my son (age 5) who has autism and has developed a penchant for chewing his collar/jumper etc. After the initial refusal to wear it, it's now attached to him all day at school. As well as saving his clothes I'm told it's helping his concentration and acts as a fiddle toy when he has to sit still and keep quiet. Wish I'd bought one years ago!The item arrived early, very happy all round.Update - my son managed to chew through this one in about a month. We have now switched to the button pendant which is lasting much longer so if you have a ferocious chewer like mine, you may want to go for the 'thicker' button pendant which seems to provide the same sensory feedback as this one.

Love this chew. My 6 year old went through quite a few other chew necklaces. A couple were lost, but most he managed to bite through/bite pieces off in a matter of weeks (with sustained effort!). But this cat has lasted almost 4 months of daily, aggressive chewing and being folded in half, it gave up today but that was very good going. My son enjoys the smooth and bumpy sides, and the fact that its flexible enough to bend (and stuff in his mouth), isn't bulky so he doesn't smack himself with it when he runs, it doesn't look especially occupational therapy-ish and the glow in the dark one is super cool.All in all a real hit for us, ordering another just now :)

this is the second chewigem I have purchased for my 5 nearly 6yr old son who had sensory processing disorder. He was very happy with it and loved the style as it reminded him of Bat man, thickness is good and texture and does what it says on the tin. Reason for 4 stars only is due to the hard material rope like string that sits around his neck he found it to hard and corse and has complained of it hurting the back of his neck plus found it too long but overall he is very happy with it

Worked great whilst my toddler was wanting to chewy everything. Started to break a bit at the edges where it met the string but was fine.

Necklace is great, has really helped my daughter who had a habit of putting things in her mouth. She now chews on this instead. Plus, she has ADHD so this helps her concentrate at school. Sturdy but not heavy. Comes on a necklace that easily opens if it gets caught on something so don't need to worry about her strangling herself if it gets caught! Also found very good follow up service from Gemious Ltd. Would thoroughly recommend.

I purchased this for a sensory seeking child who loves all things kitten. The fact it comes in her favourite colour was an added bonus. The pendant is tough, but still soft and flexible. The lanyard is strong and has a breakaway clip for safety of the wearer. Its a great product and excellent value for money. Highly recommend.

My daughter has had this for less than two weeks and although she loves it, it is already coming apart and some small bits have come off. Not the quality I was expecting for the price

Da ich sowieso oft Lila trage, passt die puuurrple Cat gut zu meinen Outfits.Ja, sie ist irgendwie groß und sieht kindisch aus, aber zum Kauen liebe ich sie! Habe mir jetzt noch eine zweite bestellt, zwar in Rosa. Als Pokemon fan finde ich, dass der Anhänger stark an Mew und Mewtu erinnert, was mich ziemlich happy macht. Deswegen musste ich mir "Mew" (Mew Chew) auch zulegen :D mit einem passenden Shirt würde das sicher toll aussehen.Generell ist es mit Chewigems so, dass man wirklich Mut braucht, um in der Öffentlichkeit damit zu "stimmen", aber das ist natürlich unsere eigene Problematik als KundInnen.

Chewigem ist einfach super! Ich beiße nicht sinnlos auf etwas rum, sondern meine Mundsensorik spürt ebenfalls etwas! Die eine Seite ist glatt, die andere hat Noppen.und es beruhigt tatsächlich, darauf rumzkaufen. Bissspuren blieben bisher nicht zurück. – Also nicht nur zahnende Säuglinge auf Mamas Arm, sondern auch für Erwachsene. Also Mut für Neues, denn man sieht schon, dass hier kein Standardschmuck um den Hals hängt. Bisher gab es aber noch keine negative Reaktion der Umwelt, nur meine bessere Hälfte findet, dass sie eher nach Spielzeug aussieht und findet sie nicht so schön.
