I was really on the fence about paying $23USD for a cat wand, but I had seen influencer videos demonstrating the magnet release so kitties can "catch" their prey. I'm glad I did, because all four of the cats love it, especially my 1 year old boy. Once they figure out that they actually *can* strike and catch it they have a whole new level of energy. Right now Badger is hugging the box, pouting for more play time.The cat wand is very well constructed. I was expecting something like an old radio antenna, but I was happily surprised with a robust, easy to hold wand, that stays extended and doesn't bend. The product description says that just one feather attachment is included, although I received two, you milage may vary.The only caution I would advise is to make certain to put this one away when not in use, and make sure that they always have supervision. The magnets are strong enough that they could present a serious hazard if swallowed.

This is such a fantastic idea for a cat toy. It's fun for the human too! It reminds me of a toy I had when I was younger, a magnetic fishing pole with magnetic fish. We bought all the attachments, there was even a surprise extra attachment! I was disappointed the "DIY clip" wasn't included, I was looking forward to putting my cat's favorites toys on it. Although I did find that I can remove the attachments and add my own, it's just a little bit trickier.There was an email on the box for any feedback you might have or if you're not completely satisfied. I sent the email with feedback not even expecting a human response, just an automated "thank you for your feedback". I was shocked that the CEO himself responded!I ran into 2 issues, 1 was that the telescopic pole came unglued(?) from the black handle. Nothing broke, it just didn't hold anymore. And the other problem was that we found it a bit unwieldy because of how long the string was. It didn't have that "flick" effect from cheaper lighter string versions. We quickly got over the unwieldy part by simply wrapping the string a bit if we wanted it shorter. We appreciate how long it is and wouldn't want it shorter.As for the telescopic part we tried glueing it with a glue gun and with super glue, it stayed okay but had a super glue smell after. :/ Thankfully the CEO directly sent me a replacement along withe DIY clip and even 2 extra attachments. We of course did not ask for a refund since we love it, nor did we ask for a replacement or even extra attachments. We were just trying to provide feedback and even repeatedly stated we didn't need any replacements. But he sent them anyway.We found the magnet to be plenty strong for all the attachments, we love the appropriate heft of the handle, makes it feel high quality, and that the cats can disconnect the toys when they've "caught their prey".We were blown away by the level of customer service. I think every cat owner should have one of these!

Update: While I do still really like this product, I'm already noticing that feathers are not lasting as long as I initially expected. For a toy that's entire premise is to encourage natural hunting behaviors, the feathers should be able to take quite a beating. I've had two fall out already, but after reinforcing with a stronger adhesive they're staying put better. I STRONGLY recommend the manufacturer ups their game with the quality of the lure, otherwise there's really no point to have it be magnetic! A high strength potting material and a longer/higher plastic sleeve would improve the durability and give the adhesive more area to bind with the feathers. That would do wonders for the integrity of this toy with little in the way of added cost.Original review:Honestly I'm very impressed by this wand. Real, strong feathers, great string and wand quality, and it functions as advertised. My cat absolute chirps up a storm whenever I play with her using this wand. I'm happy to support a company that values quality and doesn't contribute to waste with junky plastic that breaks and sheds all over the floor.

This toy is amazing. My cat has a hard time getting into normal wand toys because he gets frustrated that he can’t catch them. The first time he got the feathers off this magnetic wand he got so excited and ran away with them and he hasn’t stopped playing with the toy since.

This toy is perfectly built for how cats like to play. My cats favorite toy has always been a feather wand but now that he can take the feathers and “kill” it, he’s just been obsessed. The wand and magnets are really well made. I think it’s a perfect strength. My cat gets so excited when the magnets snap back together.

When i ordered this toy, I missed the fine print that said “more sold on line”, so I was disappointed that there were two feather attachments only. The cat does play with it happily, but I think the toy is too expensive for what you get.

Both of my cats go nuts as soon as they see me pick this up. They will come running once they hear me extended out. Absolutely one of their favorite toys. I love that they’re able to actually catch it like a real hunt. I definitely recommend this toy. And it’s great because it comes with a replacement attachment.

The cats get to play and I can reconnect the feathers extending our play time. Lots of fun.
