ALABS Iron 192 is not suitable for shock mount with XLR interface, but is suitable for shock mounts with elastic rope of shape "#" and diameter greater than 6 cm.

Q: Is this mic good for asmr?

Yeah it really is, this is a condenser microphone with high parameters and has a cardioid pickup pattern, it can catch all the mouth sounds, taps, etc. amazingly.

Q: Plug and play? Won't connect to my iphone, blue light comes on when connected to laptop, but won't record. Not plug and play, obviously.

I purchased a adapter to keep phone and microphone charging.

Q: does this come with a boom arm?

Nope, it only comes with its original stands. You can use the 5/8-inch thread at the bottom to connect your own boom arm or other stands
