Good Cook Strainer, 5.5-inch

Bought the item for a friend to replace the strainer I accidentally melted. The photo of the item indicated it was an exact match to the one I destroyed. When it arrived, it was black not white, as pictured.In all fairness, I didn't contact the vendor to replace it, because my friend didn't mind, so I can't rate the seller on fixing this mistake. But even though it wasn't worth anyone's time to bother over such a small detail, my time is still important and the notion of spending more time than it was worth correcting the seller's mistake annoys me.

It's a strainer. It strains stuff. What more do you want?Ok one downside - it's not properly balanced. Strainer won't sit on an opening by itself. Handle is too heavy, it always fall backwards. Disappointing, but what do you expect for $5?

I was disappointed with the way the package was shipped. I wanted a strainer smaller than 3 inches in diameter, and this one would have fit the bill, but to my further dismay, it turned out to be slightly more than 3 inches! Otherwise the mesh is strong. The lip is a useful feature to prevent you having to hold the strainer in one hand with a squirming baby in the other!
