I needed to relocate some files to open space on my work computer. We set up our stations with small hard drives and use mostly cloud services, but sometimes you just need some things to be kept on board. Well everything transfered properly but unfortunately, my desktop station is equipped with USB 1.0 so it was slower than molasses. But it got the job done. Now I have more storage than all the devices I have in my possession. I've backed up my phones, computers and tablets and have just barely used 1/4 of the drive.All in all, I find this very useful and operable and would buy it again.

This is easily to use and has lots of storage. Very portable and the design is cool with the metal looking shine. If you need a USB drive with lots of data, this will be your go to!

I do NOT know how they manage to make these flash drives that TRICK the computer into thinking they are the listed size (in this case a full 1TB!). BUT after writing files to it (MP3s, photos, etc) you then realize that you CANNOT open certain files. You may get an error message stating the file is "corrupted" presumably while transferring when in reality the file is NOT there. What happens is this: Suppose the storage drive says it would hold 200 photos (when in reality it only has enough space for 100 photos). Your computer copies 200 photos unto the drive BUT everything after the first 100 just overwrites those first 100. Somehow the computer still reads the whole 200 files but half are, in reality, NOT THERE! Long story short, the people that do this are a kin to hackers and THIS DRIVE IS ONE OF THEM!!! This is FRAUD! And worse yet, people will lose valuable files copying onto this drive and may take a while to realize that there is something wrong. You may lose unreplaceable photos! When I ran this drive through a verification process it only had 65GB worth of real space, the other 935GB was (what I will call) shadow space - it looks like it is there and the computer reads it as being there BUT IT ISN'T THERE! Many people have stated what a wonderful drive this is probably because they have yet to try to actually open the files they copied to it or the ones they did open were ones that were still accessible, or they thought they had been in error in copying bad files. BUT ALL ALONG IT WAS A FRAUDULENT FLASH DRIVE SOLD AS 1TB WHEN IT WAS ONLY 65GB. I sent mine back and everyone who bought one of these needs to contact Amazon and get a refund as well!

This is easy to port! No formatting needed at least on Windows 11. I love the capability of putting my files somewhere safe. Worth every penny!

This usb works great! The amount of storage is awesome. For anyone who needs to free up some space on their laptop or PC, this is a great product in leu of a bigger portable hard drive.

I needed a large capacity thumb drive to act as a backup device for my desktop computer. This 1TB thumb drive seemed to fit the bill but, unfortunately, it hasn't worked as I expected. As with most thumb drives, this unit fits into any USB port and is recognized immediately by the computer. When I transfer and copy folders, usually, it seems to copy but when I go to play back what I've downloaded there"s nothing there. Very strange. Smaller capacity thumb drives on my system work perfectly, this one doesn't. Sometimes, if I copy files directly by opening a folder and copying all the files therein in does seem to work-but not always. The unit itself seems well made and sturdy but is less than useful. Save your money and purchase something else.
