Intermediate Juicer trying a Set Program
Not a first time juicer. If you are, check out the beginner cleanses available. This is one of the intermediate options. Usually, I piece together my juice program and sometimes even make some of my own, but I don't have as much free time so I figured I would give a set program a shot!My order arrived super fast (ahead of the estimated delivery that I had quoted). All the juices were frozen. I wasn't quite ready to start that morning and had already eaten so I was a little concerned. Turns out you can freeze them for a few months. I ended up following the instructions and putting my first set of 6 juices out so they'd be in a good state for me to start today, 5/19/17. (takes 4-6 hours, then I popped them back into my fridge). Once defrosted, your juices last about 3-4 days.Since I've done several cleanses in the past, I was prepared for yuckiness/bitter juices throughout the day. However, all have went down really easy. Again I've had some pretty bitter juices in the past to prep me for this cleanse. (Evolution juices/local juicers in San Francisco and other cities). I voluntarily had them though since I was looking at my sugar intake with increased scrutiny.Anyway, I am just about to wrap up day 1 of the cleanse! So far, haven't been hungry at all.Per the picture/instructions, you spread your juices out by 2-3 hours. The schedule I'll be using is below:Detox 6 am, pineapple mint 9 am, sweet greens 12 pm, spicy lemonade 3 pm, sweet greens 6 pm, coconut 8 pmWill add updates to this tomorrow for day 2! (started the cleanse at 183 pounds)Update - 5/20/17Started my day a bit later as it is the weekend, but I stuck to the same schedule for the juices. Shortened the in-between time to two hours since I slept in.I'm having the sweet greens and coconut juice in a few, but before my run today, I was down 4 pounds, at 179 on my digital scale with the same type of workout gear on.I have added a few cups of water to my intake from the gym outings and the heat. It's about 30-31 C outside so I want to stay hydrated.I'll add a final update tomorrow.Update - 5/20/17I'm looking at my final juice...this coconut fusion to wrap up my three day cleanse. Friends were egging me on to break tonight and have some potassium/protein, but more on that later.Weighed myself at around the same time of my schedule with a similar outfit, was down another pound, which is about what I expected.Today, I didn't have any hunger pangs, I was actually having a hard time sticking to the same schedule as the first two days. I simply wasn't hungry/thirsty. Didn't have my breakfast detox green juice until 10 or so in the morning. Anyway, I was planning on doing a little hike with a friend, so I felt it was prudent to drink my pineapple mint before we trekked up. I had a bottle of water with me to stay hydrated and I planned on having my sweet greens late lunch on the drive back home post the hike.Note to self, in 30-34C degree weather, a lengthy hike is too ambitious! The hike ended up being 5-6 miles. We got lost and ended up doing 3 trails instead of one. I had thought 2-3 miles tops. Lucky me, my friend had some extra water because I ran out of water/energy on the way back.I crushed my late lunch juice after the hike and a good bottle or two of water that was stashed in the car. I could feel my muscles start to cramp on my drive back. Friends suggested that I break the cleanse to help with my recovery and eat a few bananas or something. I've done cleanses before so I wasn't in any mood to break. Despite my intentions, there was an accident on the freeway during my drive home and I needed to restore some nutrients. I ended up stopping at a jamba juice, had a hard time getting out of my car. I had a 12 ounce cucumber orange cooler (oj/cucumber/apple juices and lemon). That was my pick me up and I was all good after a little shower/nap for my other Sunday errands! Picked up post cleanse food and I only drooled a little bit (walking past the meat aisle haha). Coming out of a cleanse, you may want to jump into your old food habits right away, but you need to ease into it. Lots of nutritionists online have sample menus for your food intake following a cleanse.Summary! - Down about 5 pounds, maybe more since I took in a lot of water today for the gym/hike/errands. Favorite juice - detox juice surprisingly. Least favorite, coconut fusion, takes me the longest to drink and I've never been a big fan of coconut anything. Favorite snack juice...toss up between pineapple mint and spicy lemonade, both were great...I bet you could add rum to one and tequila to the other and they'd be great adult drinks.Hope this review helps! Happy juicing.-XD

decent juice, they should leave out the added sweetener though
I have been juicing off and on for about 7 years. I typically make it myself but I find that exhausting especially because my energy level is low when juicing and all of my mental energy goes into work and family. Trying to come up with 5 juices a day, drinking “around the rainbow”, doing all the shopping, juicing, storing, it is a lot of work and it is expensive. While this is slightly more expensive I am saving so much time and I don’t have to think about it at this point it is worth it. The juices taste amazing and the come frozen solid. They are packed in a well insulated box so don’t panic if you don’t see your delivery the minute it arrives. I am attempting a 30 day juice fast which is longer than normal but I think I can do it. I am also adding vanilla protein powder to the passion fruit juice so I am getting more calories and at least some protein. Anyway, I highly recommend this product, it is the best purchased juice I have ever tried and is better than a lot of juice I have made.UPDATE: The company ran out of this 3 day combination and I didn’t notice the change. The substitute included beet juice instead of orange (nasty, can’t get it down I have tossed out 12 very expensive juices) pineapple mint instead of passion fruit which is fine but passion fruit was the ‘cleansing juice and they tossed in a spicy lemonade just to make life miserable, as if living on juice isn’t bad enough. The spice is so strong it burns all the way down. So, BUYERS BEWARE check what you are purchasing, it may not be what you thought

MIXED FEELINGS
I purchased this twice. The first time it arrived partially thawed. I immediately froze them and it didnt appear to be a problem .I used them all and I enjoyed them. This is my second go round. The juices arrived COMPLETELY THAWED. I still IMMEDIATELY FROZE THEM but when i unthawed them they looked very DIFFERENT then the first batch and had a spoiled taste to them. 100 bucks in the trash. I contacted the seller but no response. I would hv at least wanted a replacement batch. Keep in mind that I work nights and I'm usually home during the day so I'm home when packages arrive. This absolutely didn't go wrong because of anything on my end. I'm very disappointed and really upset about 100 bucks being trashed. If no replacement I definitely will not try them afain.

I won’t do this again
I finished the entire course and lost 8 pounds (that is without me trying coconut due to it being bad as a result of seal on the bottle being broke).I kept drinking the green one although it tasted terrible (and probably because of it being not fully sealed and a little spoiled).I tried different brand with proper packaging with no spoilage and taste soooo much better. This was my first juicing experience and therefore I couldn’t confidently tell whether it’s me being picky or product got spoiled and therefore tastes horrible. Well, now I know. Giving it two stars cuz it did help me loose weight.
