A very cute book, albeit also unashamedly playing up to a lot of possibly negative stereotypes.The image cuts off the bottom front of the book which says 'Don't worry mom, we didn't burn the house' (assuming the word 'down' at the end is missing due to the translation). It then goes on to have pages for when we do the cooking, go shopping, etc. I'd prefer if us fathers were thought of as slightly more competent at life than that, and we really should be moving away from the lazy stereotype that Dad is a bit-part player in the child's upbringing. So do bear this in mind if you're buying this book for someone, as they could quite well get offended.However, the rest of the book is fun and gives a lot of creative ideas to share memories throughout your child's first year(s) of life. Putting this together would be both personal and enjoyable, and allows you to enjoy normal day-to-day tasks on another level with your little one. I'm definitely going to have a great time filling this in!

I bought this memory book for my husband as a Fathers Day gift from our 4 day old baby. We read through the book together and it has so many lovely ideas for daddy and baby to do whilst mummy is out with spaces to stick in pictures. It even has a section for daddy to tell baby how mummy and daddy met which brought a tear to both of our eyes (and my husband never cries). Lovely way to get daddy involved and to show that I trust him to look after baby on his own. Great quality hard cover and high quality printed colourful pages. I think the book is American but this didn't really matter too much, American terms are very minimal in the book.

I ordered this for my husband as a gift from our son for his first Father’s Day but honestly I’d be pretty ashamed to give him this. I presume it’s American due to the language included (Mom, diaper etc).The English is fairly poor throughout and there is even a spelling mistake on one of the pages (challegnge instead of challenge!)Some pages are lovely but then there are really odd ones like spaces for ‘face swap’ pictures.The page about changing a nappy says ‘Mom will congratulate you’. Really? On changing his own son’s nappy? It’s 2018, and still Dad’s are being stereotyped. Needless to say, this is being returned.
