This King James Version EASY READ "value" Bible is a fantastic bargain! At less than $14 it is an excellent buy. The soft charcoal-colored imitation leather cover is very nice, and the binding is very strong. The pages are thin but the printed text does not bleed through and it is easy to read. Having the words of God in the Old Testament printed in RED as well as the words of Jesus in the New Testament printed in RED is wonderful.

This translation does Not alter the Word of God as most modern translations (for profit) do. It simply modernizes the archaic language, which can be beautiful though a challenge for a person who is not gifted in linguistics. The KJV Bible was translated based on the original Hebrew/Chaldee and Greek manuscripts. Most modern translations were taken from the Alexandrian (Egyptian) texts, which were corrupted. Those texts denigrate the diety of the Lord Jesus Christ. His diety is abundantly clear in the King James Bible. There is a Scripture in the KJV which states "the heart of the king is in the hands of the Lord". So God had to use a king to get His Word properly translated because Jesus Christ is the King of kings.

I have several KJVer bibles from Whittaker House. The red letter feature in both old and new testaments is the main attraction for their popularity, also they have many different styles to choose from that are attractive. Their easy read King James as well as their regular King James are among the few KJV translations out there that where translated from the received text originals and not the latin vulgate corrupt translations. The Whittaker House King James are my favorite KJV bibles in current production right now. So there!

The Bible comes wrapped in plastic. The print size is great for tired eyes. The pages ARE thin, so you will need to use colored pencil to mark verses. I use Crayola Twistables and they work fine with no shadow. There is some shadowing of the print type from the opposite page itself and only in some places, but in no way bad enough that you can't read. The gray color is a nice neutral and wipes clean. The reason why 4 stars is...it is difficult to tab because the separate books do not start on their own page and in some places you have shorter books that start on the same or opposite page that requires two tabs on the same page which really messes up the way I tab because I tab by types of books. It would be perfect if they started new Books on a fresh page making it easier to use store-printed tabs instead of having to print your own. All in all it's an extremely good deal. I got one and was pleased enough that I ordered 20 more.

This is unique in that the words of God are in red in the old testament. This is my favorite feature. But, being the KJV it uses the more archaic words. This is ok however because it also has references to modern language for those words. I love it!

This KJV Sword Bible is a very good Bible compared to the ones in the past I've owned where the font hurt my eyes , or the font was too small. The large font is comfortable to read. Overall the Best KJV Sword Bible.

this was a Christmas gift for my husband, the Sunday school teacher, He loves it, it is easy to read and the words of God in the Old Testament are in red also. What a revelation, he was able to easily discern whenever God was speaking. I recommend this for every Sunday school teacher or one who wants to study the bible.

I got the calf skin edition in the Kjver, it is a lot better than the leather one, which I have too. You can watch reviews on you tube, but I wanted to say the calf skin is the best compared to the leather. Both are both a paste edition, but the calf skin is softer
