It lasted about 9 months before it started making noise. Not a squeal, but a grinding noise. I let it go for about 3 more months, knowing what it was, and not wanting to make time to take my dryer apart again to fix it. When I finally got to it, I was astonished to find that the whole center part of the pulley was completely disintegrated. It took me a half hour to vacuum all the metal dust out of the cabinet. I have no clue why that bearing turned into dust. It is the exact same part number for my dryer. Even though I love saving money by fixing things myself, I loathe having to do it repeatedly. I won’t be buying this brand of replacement part again

I bought the second one because it was cheaper than a new dryer. The old one still spins but appeared to have be discolored from heat. This is the third same part. They all seem to fail in about a year or two regardless of the manufacture. Difficult to install but it will keep the dryer running until I win the lottery.

I have a Maytag Epic dryer. This part was easy to install and works perfectly. The size is a little different than the original, slightly different dimensions. But after installing, I understand there is a lot of flexibility in the size for the application.

This in number two within a year and it’s starting to squeak...Update. On number three...original purchase was nov 2018.6 months. I keep having them send me out replacements... eventually they will give me my money back... cheap metal.

Did not even last 2 weeks the bearing worn out to nothing and caused the belt to brake.had to order another pully from Amazon but got a different brand .I will not but again😣

Requires professional installation, but works as good as original

Part fit as expected. No issues. So far it is working well. Better price from Amazon than Sears Parts Direct. I'll be purchasing all my repair parts from Amazon (also they shipped the next day whereas Parts Direct had roughly a week before they would ship).

Part was installed for 8 months and the bearing failed. Replaced with a genuine Whirlpool tension arm.
