Inferior quality as compared to GoPro cases. The case arrived in filthy condition, greasy and dusty. I think I am also the proud owner of a set of fingerprints of a Chinese worker.Plastic: Softer than GoPro's original. Design tolerances are greater than the original so the buttons, door, etc. don't operate very smoothly. I haven't tested the waterproofness claim, but seeing the quality issues makes me hesitant to even try.Buttons: Sticky buttons. When pressed, they return to original position slowly as if there is too much friction, which is probably indicative of poor seal quality. The original GoPro buttons, on the other hand, recover with decisive movement.Lens Glass: Possibly the worst part of this product. It doesn't appear optical quality (window glass cut into a small square??). The glass doesn't completely sink into the plastic frame (i.e. the surface stays 0.5 mm above the frame), which means it will get scratched when put face down. The glass arrived with blemishes, scratches and stains on it. All of those will affect the picture quality.It is probably useful in some applications, especially considering its low price.

PROS:- My original GoPro casing has a scratch right in the lens area. This is the closest thing I found on the internet that replicates it. I've seen other replicas and they all have holes on the side for the TV plugs - definitely wouldn't be dive safe!CONS:- The plastic doesn't seem as high quality as GoPro's but what do you expect from a cost-effective replacement?OVERALL:- No more weird scratches in my videos, so I'm happy!

i broke my actual GoPro housing so i had to order for this.. i likes the o-ring of this housing because it was black but i haven't tried this under water yet. hoping that this would be same as the one i had before ;)

works good so far, no complaints about it except it feel like the locking clasp for the case may be a little to tight and could break.

It works great!I did not have that much time to test out before the outing but when I tried without testing it first and it worked I was very happy! The product works 100% no false promises. I was however promised it would arrive on 08/27/2015 and did not receive until 08/29/2015.

It was a little too big for my go pro, so the buttons didn't reach, but I put a bit of paper underneath so it fit and worked. But can't complain, because of the price!

I purchased this housing as a secondary housing for my hero 3 black. I use this housing primarily for above water footage, and will use my original housing for all underwater footage. Overall good quality at an affordable price.

feels cheep, not a fine finish as you will find with other gopro cases.not sure if I would trust it for use in wet conditions....
