It wont stay in the bracket and when it does it wont stay stuck. Seems like it should be straight forward how to use but maybe there is some trick that needs to be shared. The temp stays rock solid and showsl no fluctuation so the primary purpose of the heater is very good.

Works perfect. Great price & quality, my betta is thriving. Heats quickly & efficiently. Temperature always stays the same. Very happy with this purchase. Although I don’t recommend placing it near the filter, as it may impact the suction and it moving around. Mine came off and I had to suction back on but I think because it’s placed next to the filter. I need to rearrange. It tends to lean toward the filter.

A few days after installing this our betta fish died. It had been living in cold water for quite some time and I felt bad for him so I got this heater. I think the change from cold to hot might have shocked him… I don’t know if the product is to blame but just thought I would leave this here incase.

On a 5 gallon I attached heater in the evening.. looked ok 78 degrees. Checked in morning, my Betta acted quiet. Then noticed Red light and water temperature dropped to 72 degrees. Rushed got my backup heaters and saved my Betta.Will only use this heater on a 3 gal.Update: I lost my Betta , yesterday.

Good little preset heater for the price I love the light turning red to green letting me know when it’s at the maintained temp. Would be five stars but I just hated the little cheap thermometer strip it came with and it left residue on my tank.
