WallarGe Atomic Clock with Indoor Outdoor Temperature, Self-Setting Digital Wall Clock Battery Operated, 4 Time Zones, DST

I purchased this clock for my mother-in-law, whose vision is not very good. It was a snap to set up and is clearly visible from 10 feet away, or more. It automatically adjusted for daylight saving time. It is an excellent value!

I bought this for my RV. But I like it so well that I use it in my house. It's portable so I'll take it with me when I go camping.

The reason I gave this a 4 star rating is because I bought it for the bedroom. I guess I didn't pay enough attention, because it does not light up. So in the dark I can not read it. It's not the clocks fault. Bummer. On the other hand, it is very easy to read and has all the information I need to start the day. It set within a day and has kept perfect time.

Love the layout, its mostly screen, but the actual screen size is too small. They need to make a large screen just like this one. Not large border clock... I would like to see the inside and outside temperatures from 12 ft away. I can't, only 5/8" tall fine font. The clock part is 1 3/4" tall bold numbers. I can see that, part easily.

We ordered this product as a gift for an elderly friend. We chose it because of the day of the week is prominently displayed at the top of the screen. You will need to supply your own batteries.... 3 AAA's for the clock and 2 AA's for the remote sensor...so be aware to check your battery stock if you want to use it right away. We set it all up and used it at our house for a few days to make sure everything worked. It's easy to set up if you read the directions. We did run into a little bit of a snag getting the remote sensor to connect but we followed the trouble shooting and it worked when we switched to the B channel. We have the remote sensor sitting near the unit and at first they were 3-4 degrees off but after an hour or so of setting it up they have been reading almost identical temperatures. So, don't worry if they are a little off at first. My Dad likes it so much, he wants one now....since I have to wrap this one up to give to our friend as a gift.

Although this is a nice clock, easy to set up, easy to read, there is one major flow, It is programmed to the old daylight time. In other words, daylight savings time started around March 10th, but the atomic clock is still showing standard time. We have tried adjusting the time and double checking the settings, but it still resorts back to standard time. Based on what I am seeing, it will probably "catch up" on the last Sunday in April. That is 6 weeks after daylight savings time started in the US. Had I known that, I would not have purchased it. Unfortunately, this was a gift.
