Excellent book but light on some important details
I wish I had had this book 7 years ago when I first began using Docker in production. Even with as much knowledge as I had about Docker before I picked up this book, I still learned a lot of details about internals and how things work under the hood. This book is appropriate for newcomers and advanced users alike. There is plenty of great information in each chapter, and the progression of detail and difficulty increases nicely as the book goes along.I wish the author had spent much more time on using cloud services like EKS and CloudRun. There is a chapter on EKS, but the concepts and command line invocations are only lightly explained. This is in stark contrast to the rest of the book, where detail is copious. If the author revised this chapter and maybe added two more chapters for GCS and Azure, this book would easily get 5 stars. As it is, it’s a solid four star book with a lot of great material for both new and experienced Docker users.

Learned something, but not much
I don't think it is beginner friendly, the examples are not well explanined for people without much experience with Docker. I feel the target audience of this book is intermediate level engineers only.
