Fantastic fantasy
Second book of Crowns of Nyaxia series. It is a well written fantasy. I enjoyed reading both the books. World building, character development and plotline, everything is to the point. Emotions and surprise elements are also perfect. Its a good fantasy series for beginners as well.I m looking forward to the release of 3rd book.

Same vibes as the first one
The first book is always a charm but the 2nd one was not less. It had same pattern at times but with more fight scenes and more stakes. All in all an enjoyable ride. But the last 100 pages hooked me to the story. A must read for those who love Vampires.

Drop my jaw on the floor.
First of all I love the happy ending. Raihn and Oraya came back together and married in love. I love the whole story

Perfect conclusion to Oraya and Raihn's story.
Ashes and The Star-Cursed King, the second book in the Crown of Nyxia series, completely exceeded my expectations. If you’ve been following me, you already know how much I adore this universe and its characters. I put off reading this sequel for a while—partly because I wasn’t emotionally ready after The Serpent and The Wings of Night—but I’m so glad I finally picked it up. It delivered everything I needed: heartbreak, tension, groveling, spice, and a plot that never lost momentum.Oraya was already a character I admired, but this book made me respect her even more. Her growth, internal battles, and the way she carries herself through every twist and turn—absolutely powerful. And Raihn, ever the charming and morally grey favorite, stole every scene he was in. I also loved the deeper insight into Vincent’s character—his backstory added such rich emotional layers to the story and gave even more meaning to Oraya’s arc. What really elevated this book was the emotional depth—so much yearning, tension, and unspoken emotion that made the reading experience incredibly immersive. And while I expected a neatly tied-up ending, I loved that Carissa Broadbent chose to keep it open-ended. It leaves space for interpretation, reflection, and honestly, a lingering ache that felt right for these characters. If you enjoy slow-burn romance, complex characters, emotional intensity, and vampire romantasy, you need to pick up this series.

Second book didn’t disappoint similarly like first. This book has everything. EVERYTHING!Will definitely read more books by @carissabroadbentbooksI loved the dual point of view.worldbuilding, character development and raw emotion in two novels sign of a legend writer in making proving/ paving her way to the top in the field.A human FMC ahem [Half Human] & A vampire MMC, their cemetery flaring through first to the last line of this book. And I love the pace of the book, plus we got more Vincent in this book and rationales.Am I recommending this book?YES!!!!!💯Have a nice read bestie!🌹Much love & Coffee ♥️☕
