Back Box 86 * 50mm Mounting Accessory for Push Eixt/doorbell Button Switch Metal Electroplate

Could not use, not suitable for my needs.

Very nice little button box. When they say, "Mirror finish," they're not kidding. If your mug is as ugly as mine you might want to consider brushed nickle. I'm going to use this box for a momentary stop button for one of my lathes - It will be the only thing folks see when they look at that lathe.My Issue with this box (reason for 3 stars) is: It doesn't come with the button plate. They show a picture of the box with plate and button with a caption underneath that reads: "Push button (buy separately). I already have a button for it - and it would mount into that plate like they all do. There's also a schematic of what they call the front view. It shows (what appears to be the button hole) with a 30mm diameter - the perfect size for my button. The schematic also shows the back mounting screw holes. So one could argue if you can see the holes – Yada, yada, yada .. it is obviously … blah, blah. It doesn't matter. If what the consumer is purchasing is not crystal clear the seller is negligent. When the consumer is browsing through a myriad of products trying to make an informed purchase they shouldn't have to go back – reread the description and study all photos again – only to conclude: “I don't know whether it comes with that plate or not.” It says button not included, why doesn't it say plate not included? They're two separate pieces, and if they're not – they usually are.Hope this seller error isn't intentional - but I suspect (seeing that plate and button cost as much as box) that it is intentional. See, once you get your shinny new button box in the post you get to figure out that you've only paid for 1/2 of your new switch. The consumer should know exactly what they're purchasing at the time of purchase.If, GAGALOR fixes this Error on their product page I will come back for an edit - but as it stands it's 3 stars (and i think that generous).Thanks for reading

Another review pointed out that all of the pictures in the listing for this show this metal box with a selection of faceplates and buttons. It does say that the button is not included, but the fact that the faceplate is not included is buried in a picture. It's very easy to miss.It's hard to give this a rating.The Good:It's a great piece of hardware. Metal, chromed, it's going to look good when visible.Mounting hardware is includedThe Bad:The listing on Amazon makes it look like a faceplate will be included. I clearly says that the button is not included, but the faceplate is not mentioned.Maybe it's just me:The hole on the rear of the box is 30mm in diameter. I wonder if I should just get a 30mm button and flip the front to the back. The button would mount in there backwards and then I could use some long screws to attach the whole thing to the wall or to a piece of equipment. Yeah, it feels like a hack, but if I just had to make this work on its own it's an option.
