OaseFlow Regulator

Sturdy construction, easy to install and works well. Worth the extra cost.

Not much more to say. Used Oase as I have had a good experience with their products over the years. Steady firm pressure will operate the valve but it is surprisingly stiff, as other reviewers have mentioned. However, I don't think this is a design fault, probably designed to get a decent seal when restricting flow rates.I did resort to using PTFE tape on all my connections, as there was some leakage at the joints but suspect that others will have encountered similar issues connecting any type of simiular device.

Needed a way to slow down the water going into the waterfall as was splashing out and lowering the amount of water in the pond. This is reasonably discreet and works well. No issues since this was installed several weeks ago.

I am not returning this product as, once set, it will not require constant adjustment. I have a strong grip, but you need the strength of a cyborg to adjust the flow lever...........or put a tube over the lever to make it longer in order to get better leverage. It does not feel 'precision engineering' we have come to expect from German products.

It works as expected. It was used to regulate the flow of water over a waterblade into a pond. The mechanism was stiff if you turn the handle the 'wrong' way but once you look closely you can see the correct way to turn the handle to move the water flow restriction mechanism inside.

I bought this to use when re-plumbing a water trough. I was chunkier than expected, not that that's a bad thing necessarily. There's a good choice of sizes for pipe connections and it's easy to fit.All connected up and watertight, tap in the off position, I turned the mains water back on. 3¼ turns is mains full on, I turned it half a turn. That was all the pressure needed to tear the stopper and render it useless.For the price, I was expecting much higher quality, but this is far too flimsy to be any any use. Returned.

Like all Oase stuff, it is well made and sturdy, very overpriced though. I don't mind paying top price for Oase pumps and filters but this flow regulator is really just a bit of plastic.

I need to restrict the flow of water from a pond pump to a filter. This regulator does the job. The valve handle is very tight to turn but once it is set, you don't need to move it again.

I got this to reduce the flow rate from my pond pump to my fountain. It wasn't difficult to turn the valve, and I was able to adjust the flow rate as needed.
