A Versatile Tool for Creatives and Students
The Apple Pencil Gen 2 is an essential companion for anyone using the iPad Air 4 & 5, especially those who engage in creative tasks or extensive note-taking. Priced around ₹8,000, this premium stylus offers precision and functionality that make it stand out.Design and Features:- The design of the Apple Pencil Gen 2 is sleek and minimal, with a matte finish that offers a comfortable grip. One of its key advantages is magnetic attachment to the side of the iPad, where it charges wirelessly, ensuring it’s always ready for use. This feature eliminates the hassle of dealing with cables or separate charging docks. The double-tap feature adds to its versatility, allowing users to quickly switch between tools like erasers and brushes with just a tap on the pencil. This makes it particularly useful for workflows that require frequent changes between different functions.Performance and Usability:- For artists and designers, the Pencil truly excels. It offers advanced features like pressure sensitivity and tilt recognition, enabling precise control over line thickness and shading. These features make it ideal for digital painting, sketching, and detailed graphic design work. While it’s a powerful tool for drawing, it’s also useful for students who need to take handwritten notes. However, the advanced capabilities, such as tilt shading and pressure control, may be more than what’s necessary for simple note-taking. If your primary focus is writing, you might find that a more basic stylus meets your needs at a lower cost.Final Thoughts:- The Apple Pencil Gen 2 is a highly functional, well-designed accessory that brings out the full potential of the iPad Air 5, especially for creative tasks. Its seamless integration, quick charging, and advanced features make it an excellent investment for artists and designers. However, for casual users or those focused solely on note-taking, the advanced functionality might be more than necessary.

A must have with the iPad Pro (2018)!
Now, let me preface this review by saying, this is arguably, the best stylus on the market. There is no equal to the Apple Pencil (2nd generation) a.k.a. Apple Pencil 2 besides maybe the current Surface Pen but even that needs an uncommon AAAA battery that people would specifically need to hunt for.PROS------1) Incredible precision and accuracy while writing/drawing.2) Instantaneous output the moment it comes into contact with the device3) Useful "double tap" gestures4) Robust and high quality unibody design5) Charges wirelessly by attaching magnetically to side of iPad Pro6) Magnetic attachment provides a means of storing your Apple Pencil7) Building off of, #2, Introduction of iPadOS reduces latency and improves performance for Apple Pencil 2.CONS------1) No spare tips in the box despite being MORE expensive than the 1st generation Apple Pencil (which just so happens to include a spare tip in the box) so take good care of your stylus.2) Eats into your iPad Pro's battery reserves3) Relying on the magnetic attachment to store your Apple Pencil may not be the best long term solution to ensure safe storage and preservation of your device's battery.NOTE: Look for a case that will give you an option (like Zugu's Muse Case)Truthfully, the 2nd Gen Apple Pencil should be labelled as the Apple Pencil Pro for 2 reasons:-1) It only works with the current generation of iPad Pro (2018)2) Apple has released 2 tablets after the iPad Pro (2018) namely the iPad Air (2019) and iPad (2019) and both these devices are only compatible with the FIRST generation of Apple PencilAnyway, that's besides the point. Truth be told, this is an expensive accessory but if you're committing to purchasing the iPad Pro, it is a waste if you don't get the Apple Pencil 2 having committed that much money. Despite the steep price, I have to admit that it's worth it especially if you want to take notes, write and/or draw. This second iteration is superior to its predecessor in every way. It charges and pairs wirelessly without having to stick it into a lightning port (the iPad Pro has a USB Type-C port where as other iPad models still use lightning), there's no cap to lose that covers the lightning plug since it's a unibody design and it can attach magnetically to the device without having to look for a means to store it.Apple could have approached pricing in one of two ways:-1) Price it at the current level WITH AT LEAST ONE SPARE TIP in the box.2) Keep the pricing of the 2nd Gen Apple Pencil the SAME as the 1st Gen model with NO spare TIPS in the box since it is a superior product. So, is this item worth the money? Yes.Is it value for money? I'm sorry to say, it's not despite me having purchased this item. However, if you do make the plunge, you won't regret it. The nib is very durable but since Apple has included spare tips with the 1st Gen of Apple Pencil, it's a shame they don't for the 2nd Gen Apple Pencil especially at the increased price point.

Best stylus ever created
Best style choice for an iPad user is definitely is apple pencil whether it is first gen or 2nd gen. But when it comes for a iPad 5 which am using ideal choice is 2nd gen Pencil because this come with magnetic connector with charging at the same time. Which reduces our charging issue we don't need to charge this manually in charging ports just connect to the iPad & leave for charging. That's the best feature of this & many low cast stylus's are available which loss the magnetic charging tech. Precision and accuracy is another great notable feature. This pencil can detect pressure of the writing and adjust ten thickness as we are witting on a paper. Good choice for sketching writing in etc in apple device. Another interesting thing is this whole review I wrote here is using the same apple pencil. A recommended one but cost is a important fact this is the most costlier one, EMI option is quite helpful , there are low cost ones available for who can't afford this but apple pencil is apple pencil that stands top of all.
