Great hiking boot
great quality, nicely built and they look good.

Impressive comfort, good traction
I bought these last-minute after my previous pair of hiking boots split across the sole. I had no time for break-in, and expected I would pay for it on the hike I had planned with my son.I was very pleased to be wrong: the boots fit well, were comfortable and dealt with mud, rocky terrain, and rain without issues. Best of all, no blisters after 12.5 miles on the trail.

Waterproof lasted five months.
Both left and right boots started leaking water within days of each other. Northface was a brand I liked and trusted. No more unless they replace my boots or the $145.00 plus tax I spent on them.

Quality > Comfort
These were purchased as work shoes and the quality is sub par at best. Within 30 days of wearing these in a construction based setting (HVAC at that) they are, by far, the worst quality shoe I have ever purchased. Yes, they are comfortable out of the box but the soles on these shoes are already peeling off. The glue used to secure the soles on the bottom of these shoes is laughable. I have already spent $25+ on glue to reattach the soles but it is a losing battle. I've purchased $30 dollar shoes that last three times as long as these. Take my word for it, DO NOT PURCHASE NORTH FACE SHOES if you want them to last more than 90 days. Terrible product and I will never buy North Face footwear again.Do not make the same mistake I made. I ignored the reviews before purchasing and I bought them anyways. Maybe you can waste $120 in 90 days but I expected much longer life despite the same review I'm giving now.- TLDR: The THE NORTH FACE Hedgehog 3 Mid WP is the absolute worst quality footwear I have ever had in my 40 years. Run away, but not in this shoe...
