I used the icing smoothers for the first time when I decorated two Christmas cakes made for charity. Being very doubtful at the outset I soon realised how much easier it was using them. The cakes looked very professional and raised more for charity than I expected. They are extremely comfortable to use, especially for people like me with arthritic hands. What did I do before smoothers? Don't delay - buy them. They are inexpensive, store easily and you'll wonder how you managed before.

Only 1 of them arrived in a bag inside the parcel. The other one was just put straight into the parcel bag and was covered in scrapes and scratches. Unable to use as a smoother for icing a cake......which is the whole point 😡 Returned.

Arrived on time. Well packaged. Easy to use and made a brilliant job. Wish I had purchased these years ago.

I am a novice using these but for a first try was really impressed with the results - cake was loved by everyone so will be using more in the future

On unpacking the 2 smoothers, I instantly noticed that the handle of the rectangular smoother had been obviously glued back on. I'm astounded this was dispatched to me in this state, so it's being returned. I'll have to buy my smoothers elsewhere - what a waste of everyone's time.

Very nice to use. Were a bit dirty on arrival with a few black hairs stuck on them. So had to give them a clean. All good though.

First time I had used fondant icing for my Christmas cake and this tool made the job very easy.
